Does anyone else delay starting things because they want to do it perfectly?

I feel like I know what I should be doing, but I keep getting stuck before taking action.

I make plans, create strategies and think about the best approach...

But somehow I spend more time preparing than actually doing.

It feels like my brain is trying to protect me from failure, but at the same time it’s keeping me stuck.

For people who used to overthink everything, what helped you finally start taking action?

“I feel stuck because I overthink everything before doing anything”

I’ve noticed something frustrating about myself.

I spend so much time trying to find the perfect way to do something that I end up not doing it at all.

I research, compare options, think about possible mistakes and try to avoid making the wrong choice.

The strange thing is I know that taking action would probably teach me more, but my brain keeps telling me to think a little more before starting.

Does anyone else struggle with this?
How did you stop waiting for the "perfect" moment?

I feel stuck because I think too much before doing anything

I’m trying to improve myself but I keep running into the same problem.

I analyze everything.

Before starting something new, I think about every possible outcome, every mistake I could make, and whether it’s the right choice.

Sometimes I feel like I’m waiting for the perfect moment that never comes.

I want to become someone who takes action instead of someone who only thinks about action.

Has anyone successfully changed this habit?

Overthinking is making me less productive and I don’t know how to fix it

I always thought thinking more would help me make better decisions.

But lately it feels like the opposite.

I spend hours planning, researching and trying to find the perfect way to start something.

Then I end up doing nothing.

It’s frustrating because I have goals and things I want to achieve, but my own thoughts slow me down.

How do you know when you’ve thought enough and it’s time to just take action?
