First suppressor and experience using Silencer Shop and I'm stuck with an eForms mismatch error and a $1000 suppressor in purgatory

First, let me get this out of the way: I am aware of the issues the ATF has with eForms.

Double. and triple checked the information. All is identical. However, when I go to correct the information through the blue link on the error pop up page (the one right after you enter your username and PIN) it shows my state information as unpopulated/unselected despite being selected on both Silencer Shop and ATF eForms. I cannot fix this blank field because it along with 60% of that page is greyed out with no option to change.

Both myself and my dealer have attempted to reach out to ATF and SS to get help and its been an hour+ on hold with no callbacks every time. I think I'm on attempt number 4 of waiting and being given the option for a callback with no call back in over 2 weeks. I have a $1000 suppressor in purgatory and rapidly diminishing patience. Any help would be appreciated.

I know we all fancy this sub a fashion sub, but for those with tactical shooting course experience: how would you build a mini shoot house with 80 railroad ties and 72"x48" pallets?

My brother and I expanded our range to 275 yards and hired earth moving equipment to make an L shaped berm. We want to make a two gun course of fire range that has a move n shoot through kill house. He has a pile of railroad ties and we have access to some stringer pallets that are 72 in x 48 in which would make decent walls. I dunno, looking for ideas from those with marred brass deflectors and grass/dirt stains on their gear. (I too would like to have more of all those hence the range building)

The best addition to FC6 was the MP7. Hands down the best for CQB with AP ammo.

Was even more pleased that they have a skin that looks like HK RAL8000 (aka baby poop beige) But this thing does work at close to medium range. Here's a short clip of me running around Esperanza being an absolute menace to Castillos "special forces".

Anyone know what 4x20/4x21 carry handle scope this was?

Found these photos from 20 plus years ago when I had my first rifle, a Bushmaster XM-15 E2S. I remember having this carry handle scope and can't for the life of me remember who made it. It had a blue ring around the front quarter of the scope. Resolution is way too low on the photos to discern any text.

Wishing I had never got rid of that rifle. Still have the original Wyndham, Me mag though.

Finally finished putting together my H&R M16A2. Happy with the level of mismatch between the upper and lower.

Not too much of a difference but enough to give it that extra US Govt patina. Added one modern upgrade with a new set of Trijicon tritium sights. Have a Microbest BCG and an FN Chromed CHF 1:7 NATO barrel. I also thought it was a rifle deserving of housing the magazine from my very first rifle, a very pre 2011 16" Bushmaster XM-15 E2S. Have had that mag around for the past 22 odd years. Added a cut down barrel flashlight mount in the FSB where I'll probably add my 6P with a Weaver 1" ring. Still working that one out. Honestly, everyone should have a Eugene Stoner Musket in their safe. It's a nice rifle.

Need suggestions on a good sling for the time period(s)

Decided to put together an FN CHF barreled H&R M16A2 with a little modern twist with a set of tritium sights. The rear flip sight has a slightly different surface profile where the bottom flat meets the little leaf spring. Made it real fiddly. Lower should arrive any day now.

Flashlight is just a generic Surefire 6P with Z32 LED head on it. Rigged up the tape switch battery cap from a clicky cap. If I like it there I'll probably try and find the real deal.

Barrel mount is the Amazon $8 special one cut down and filed to fit. I tossed the hardware that came with it because those screws were dogshit. Grabbed for Hillman replacements which look much nicer. I mean milled aluminum is milled aluminum. Plus the screws give it a closer look to the Surefire M14/M10 kit.

Ordered the 1 low matte Weaver rings directly from Weaver. Thankfully those aren't that expensive compared to the ones that came with the surefire kit. You know despite being the exact same thing basically (more or less).

So I decided that trying to make sure that the slot was the exact dimensions was a bit unnecessary because at the end of the day the only thing I want mounted this far back is a no lug single crossbolt BUIS. In this case it is a KAC 200-600 backup iron. So I made the slot wider by 2 mm and then placed it exactly where I wanted it. The wider slot serves a few purposes. Number one and differentiates it from the others as being unique and for different purposes. Second, It allows me to precisely align the backup iron over the charging handle the way I want. It also gives me a little bit of wiggle room in case the optic I'm mounting in front of it needs a little bit more or a little bit less room. Once the iron site is clamped down it's not going anywhere.

So basically I just got a square, measured the width of the cut and made two scratch lines across the top. I took my 32 teeth per inch hack saw blade and slowly worked my way through the aluminum down to the apex of the picatinny rail point. Then I took a Dremel tool grinder wheel and removed the material between the cuts making sure not to gouge or touch my nice clean side cuts. Then, once I got the material down within a millimeter of the apex of the rail, I switched over to a flat file using the side to sort of scrub back and forth across the cut. Obviously the file is skinnier than my slot so I had to sort of yaw back and forth hitting most of the cut surface on each pass. This part took the longest since you really don't want to remove too much from the bottom or the sides. Another tertiary reason for the wider slot is my diamond finishing file is this width and it's all I had on hand so it worked out. I wrapped it in some 600 grit sandpaper and went to town. Got it smoothed out nice. Then hit it with some aluminum black and then a coat of Krylon Camouflage Woodland Light Green.

I get to keep my BUIS on the rear and also get some much needed eye relief for the optic. Genuinely happy with how it turned out using a combination of hacksaw and Dremel.

My Bushmaster A4 Flattop upper has picatinny rail slots that stop about an inch before the end of the actual rail portion which is kind of annoying. I really would like to have my optic 1 or 2 rail slots closer to my eye, and I wouldn't care if my KAC600 BUIS hung over the chonky Gasbuster charging handle. Even if it's not the correct spacing, having at least one more would allow the BUIS to move back a bit. Plus it wouldn't really ever be visible since I'd have the BUIS mounted to it.
