Why do some men on Hinge suddenly ghost after great conversation?

Why do some men on Hinge like your profile, send the first message, have great banter, and even hint at going on a date—only to suddenly ghost out of nowhere?
I'm genuinely curious. If the conversation is flowing, both people are asking questions, and there's mutual interest, what usually causes someone to disappear? Is it that they met someone else, lost interest, got overwhelmed, or something else entirely?
I'd love to hear both men's and women's perspectives.
It’s kills my confidence on the app.

Got placed on a project I feel unqualified for. Need advice.

Hello everyone

I work for a boutique consulting firm that specializes in health IT and I was recently placed on a govt project that is heavily technical.

Before this I was placed on quality assurance projects which I felt comfortable with and could execute successfully to meet client requirements.

This time around, I was placed onto a new project that is SQL heavy and my knowledge of SQL is very limited. I had it on my resume since college as I took one class covering basic stuff but never applied that in real world jobs. Im almost nearly a decade out of college and now have a project that was originally advertised to me as “just need someone with a general knowledge” of SQL but this is far beyond what I ever dabbled in. Complex queries and full on Database knowledge with working multiple time sensitive tickets is really causing me and my colleagues some concern. Our client even felt the same concern.

If anyone ever worked for govt contracts before it is a long tedious process on getting the equipment and access you need with background checks etc and finding a replacement will not be easy or considered currently. I feel like I am locked into this position as the prime company on this govt project has it for 5 years bur I can only hope after an annual recompete, they will reconsider subs and switch out resources.

I have panic attacks looking at the scope of work and trying to pick up work from the other team who we are replacing. Their knowledge transfers/training sessions were not robust due to corporate politics but I am really feeling out of my depth

Any advice if anyone experienced something similar would be greatly appreciated.

I try not to take work home with me but this one I just can’t seem to shake the thought. I never felt so much anxiety on a project.

Finally starting to close my extraction gaps!

We’re working on fixing my bimaxillary protrusion and my ortho finally started the process on closing the gaps. Looks like the canines will be moved back first. It’s gonna be a long journey but I can’t wait to see the changes in a few months. For anyone who had or has similar treatment, how long did it take for your gaps to close?

Philly recs for Sculptra injectors!

Hi ladies and gents!

I am looking to get Sculptra done and need some recs for an experienced injector who provides great results. I live in the NW side of Philly and prefer clinics near the surrounding area.

If you could recommend some names, price quotes, and experience with results that would be great!

Thanks!
