I thought of REC , SEC and SVEC is it good? I want ece and i want to join core companies ? Currently i got a ECE seat in SRM rmp via SRMJEEE?

My non-negotiables:

• Zero lag, zero stutter — even after 4-5 years
• Smooth app switching while music plays simultaneously
• OLED/AMOLED display (not LCD)
• Natural camera — minimal AI processing, no oversaturated fake colours
• Long software support (minimum 4+ years)
• Reliable brand with service centers in Chennai

My concerns:

• Nothing Phone 3a Pro has "only" 850k Antutu — will it stay fast for 6 years?
• Nothing is a relatively new brand — is after-sales service reliable in Chennai?
• Will clean OS actually compensate for lower Antutu vs phones like Moto Edge 70 (950k) or Vivo T5x (1M+)?

Phones I considered and why I dropped them:

• Vivo Y51 Pro — LCD display, rejected
• Vivo V70 FE — heavy OriginOS, over budget, same chip tier as cheaper phones
• Vivo T5x — only 2 years OS updates, heavy OS
• Samsung A37 — Exynos 1480, weaker than Nothing 3a despite costing ₹37k+
• Moto Edge 70 — over-processed camera, only 3 years OS updates
• Samsung A36 — weaker Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, heavier One UI

i wanted ece with VLSI but got Bio medical course what to do ?

Any govt. clg chances. I live in chennai and open to move if the clg is worth it .

I got ece at VIt slab 5 i rejected it , ece at amrita coimbatore slab 3 rejected it , I waited for SSN thinking they would give fair seats for all phases but came to know that all seats are filled in phase 1 and 2 , now i have paid fee for SRM rmp - ECE : I did not get rejection mail from SSN. My cutoff is 180 BC , will i get any good clg in TNEA which as good as deemed ones.

Those who wrote Phase 1 and Phase 2 have already received their emails, but very few from Phase 3 have. It seems like Phase 3 students are being considered only to fill the remaining seats after allocations from the earlier phases.

If that was the case, they should have communicated it clearly. I was under the impression that seat allocation would be distributed equally across all phases, but it doesn't seem to be that way.

i did my interview, it was confident and smiley. They asked me a question: CBSE vs State Board. I got stuck, but I told some points. Then she told me, “You need to speak for 2 minutes,” then I kept repeating the same points. She told me, “Try some more,” I did some. Then she told, “Thank you,” and no more questions. Then a staff called me in once again. They asked my JEE percentile (81.16). Do I have a chance? I am scared AF ngl. Pls seniors.
