DD PCC - whats the point? Seems anyone can build something very similar

I'm getting into PCCs, particularly AR9 so a lot of things are still new to me. I've been reading about Daniel Defense PCC and seeing a lot of YouTubers rave about how soft it shoots. But it seems like it's just a standard blowback gun with an aftermarket hydraulic buffer system (Kynshot) that anybody can just buy.

Am I missing something? Can't I just get a PSA ARV, install a Kynshot buffer, and basically have a gun that shoots just like the DD PCC? I understand that the mag release and LRBHO on the DD PCC are different and probably more robust than the PSA. But aside from those and better quality control, it seems like the DD PCC is just a PSA ARV with the Kynshot buffer pre-installed. Is there anything else that the DD PCC brings to the table that's hard to replicate?

Would you support a law that made Congress members ineligible for reelection if deficit surpassed 3% of GDP?

This is Warren Buffet’s idea (linked below) to fix the federal deficit in “5 minutes”. He proposes that any time the federal deficit surpasses 3% of GDP, all current members of Congress at the time becomes ineligible for reelection, which gives some serious incentives for lawmakers to try to get the deficit under control. Would you support such a law? Is this something both the left and right can agree on?

Huxwrx Flow 556 Ti + BCM Mk2 recoil system = barely any recoil

Shot this new build for the first time. Huxwrx Flow 556 Ti on a BCM 11.5” with their Mk2 recoil reduction system. Such a pleasure to shoot. Has barely any recoil to it.

Without the suppressor, i think the recoil is similar to my other 16” AR thats 1.5lbs heavier.

Looking for lightweight suppressor. Low back pressure, or traditional baffle?

Im looking into getting into 300BLK. To start off, just to see how I'd like 300BLK, I plan on getting a cheap PSA 7" upper (~$200) and running subsonic rounds + suppressor.

For suppressor, I'm looking for something super light (10oz or less), so a titanium one. I think I've narrowed it down to these:

- SilencerCo Scythe Ti
- CAT ODB Ti
- OCL Hydrogen S

Of those, I think ODB is the only one that's low pressure. I've heard very good things about its sound reduction, but I am a bit concerned if it's TOO little back pressure to cycle subs reliably.

Anybody run a similar setup (7" barrel + subsonic rounds) and can share some experiences with low vs high back pressure cans?

Im thinking about converting one of my ARs into Sig Rattler LT (with their upper). Two big things Im looking for compared to its current 16" 556 barrel is: 1) lighter weight and less front heavy with a smaller gun and 2) reduced barrel/overall length. I plan to SBR it and run Sig's folding rifle stock.

But I've also read some reports that Rattler LT's are heavy? I'm pretty sensitive to weight and want a light gun. How is the weight of the Rattler LT compared to a similar length 7" 300BLK AR? Also, how would you describe the gun's balance - e.g. more vs less front heavy?

I have a tree that was planted 3 years ago. Last fall noticed the branches drooping down like a sad face. Then this spring, only half the branches have leaves like the picture shows. I tried snapping off the branches without leaves and they break easily, which I think means they’re dead.

Anyone know whats wrong with the tree? What am I doing wrong? What can I do to help it?

I want to convert one of my 556 AR rifle into a dedicated 300blk rifle with a suppressor. This would be my first 300blk, so had questions. NFA / SBR regulation considerations aside, what are some things I need to be aware of for the weapon to function reliably?

I plan to mostly shoot subsonics, with occasional supersonics. I heard that flow thru cans aren't ideal, since with subs it needs the higher back pressure to cycle properly? So if I run a traditional can, would I need to do anything else if I have a milspec carbine buffer? Would OCL Polonium be a decent can that can work with both super and subs?

The actual upper that I'm looking to get is a BCM 7 or 9inch upper. I prefer a shorter 7inch, but that one specifically says it's for "high velocity bullet only", so it's giving me a pause. Any other recommendations for upper brands?
