Is there a canonical reason for the weird fingers Namor’s got in Monstro King?

it was honestly my favorite skin of him, I adored the design, pirate aesthetic, and the MVP. but once I noticed those sickening squid fingers he’s got, I can never unsee it. his other hand isn’t even like that. WHY is it like this?!

What if Dispatch had random events that could mess up the gameplay

Event One: there is a 0.5% chance that, while Invisigal is moving to and/or from any dispatch, she could just have an asthma attack. This forces the player to send someone after her. If she is recovered safely, her rest time is twice as long. If the mission is ignored OR failed, she is downed.

Event Two: Any flyers (Monster Sonar, Coupè, Phenomaman, Flambae, etc.) have a 5% chance to accidentally fly into a plane and fall down to earth. This cancels out their inclusion on the mission they were heading to, and they go directly to SDN to rest. if this happens twice to the same character; they are injured.

Event Three: Phenomaman has a 10% chance to undergo a mood swing, even if he hasn’t failed a mission, and become depressed. The only way to get rid of this is to choose the Antidepressants upgrade.

Killer Concept— The Slayer

the Slayer is a complicated killer, replicating the gadget wheel of the Doom games with weapons of different strengths.

Secondary power: Dark Arsenal

scattered across the map are Weapon Terminals— the Slayer can buy the Shotgun, Chaingun, and Plasma Rifle. he gains currency for the weapon terminal by injuring and chasing survivors— he can buy all four weapons but only can hold two at a time. Hooking survivors grants Upgrade Coins— which can grant the Slayer 20 seconds of undetectable, 20 seconds of haste, or upgrade the Shotgun into the Super Shotgun.

primary power: Fist of Hell

The Slayer fires whichever gun he has selected— he can switch using the secondary power button. The Shotgun has three shots— it can injure survivors, apply Deep Wound, and damage two at a time. The Chaingun works like the Trickster’s projectiles— damaging over time to down. The Plasma Rifle works like the Clown’s purple bottle, slowing survivors and casting exhaustion. The Super Shotgun has two shots, being able to fire at three survivors at once, instantly downing with each successful shot.

That‘a all :)

I’m writing my own custom Fantastic Four universe, and it’s all in my own direction. I want the Maker to be a late story villain for the series— someone they face after most of their big villains have been dealt with.

because I don’t want to write out the entire rise and fall of 1610 Reed, I’d like to simply start fresh with a different origin for the Maker. how does this sound?

Reed Richards of an alternate universe lived a nearly identical life to that of main series Reed, being a hero and getting engaged to Susan Storm. he was in the prime of his life. Three villains see this— and plot to stop it. Namor, Molecule Man, and Doctor Doom all create a plan to destroy the Fantastic Four.

their plan succeeds— mostly. Reed is the only survivor among his family. filled with rage, he captures the three villains— killing Molecule Man and Doom— but sparing Namor to torture, as he stuck the killing blow to Sue.

Alternate Reed conquers his world, ruling over it as the Maker in kind of an Injustice Superman kind of way. He discovers the secret of the multiverse— and finds a universe nearly identical to his where the Four survived— the main universe.

Filled with a petty rage that his family weren’t the ones to survive— the Maker travels into the main universe to be a villain.

this change serves to make the Maker slightly less irredeemable and more understandable, though I do not plan for any redemption arc.

how is it? Be honest :p
