Can anyone recommend an abdominal binder post C-section for someone with an apron belly?
I had my second section a week ago (at least this one was planned) and now I’m trying to support my recovery whilst looking after a 2.5 year old and a newborn.
As mentioned I have an apron belly from my first surgery and I’m struggling with discomfort trying to keep the incision dry and aired out with my tummy hanging over.
So far I’ve had a clean cotton muslin cloth placed between the two to avoid the skin rubbing against each other but I’d love recommendations for an abdomen binder post C-section

Does anyone have any tips for introducing an autistic toddler to their newborn sibling?
We are due to have our son next week and we have also just been told our 2.5 year old daughter has been put forward for autism assessment by her ND specialist.
The news isn’t a shock to us as we’ve always been aware of her “quirks” but we now are having a huge change in our lives and household and want to make the transition as easy as possible for everyone involved.
She has limited communication and doesn’t really understand that there’s a baby on the way.
We have role played with dolls and she is generally good with it, holding baby, feeding/changing the doll and putting it to sleep etc but I don’t know how well this will translate to an actual living breathing baby.
Has anyone had a young child suspected of, or diagnosed with, Autism?
My 2.5 year old has recently completed a round of speech therapy due to concerns and issues she was having. After the course had finished (3 months) we had a meeting with the speech therapists and a few specialists and while they said she’s very smart for her age and has made excellent progress, they’ve noticed behaviours consistent with a diagnosis of autism and ADHD.
They asked if we have any family history but no one in our families has ever been diagnosed with anything like that and they made the decision to put her forward for assessment.
I’m aware that it takes a long time to get assessed but has anyone else gone through this process?
Tips for surviving pp with a toddler?
In 5 weeks our second child will be born via C-Section.
It’s my second section (first was emergency) and I’m terrified of something going wrong, but the thing that is worrying me the most is recovery.
My husband will have 2 weeks of paternity leave (uk) and so I think that with him focused on our toddler and me on the baby and myself we should be okay during that time although I feel like I’m going to have to fight the urge to get up and do things that I probably shouldn’t. It’s the time after his paternity leave is up that I’m worried about. I don’t want to compromise my health and recovery but the idea of being the sole adult with a toddler and a newborn WHILST recovering from major surgery scares the hell out of me. We are lucky to have family close by but they are all in full time work so I don’t/cant expect them to come and help me around the house or with babysitting.
I’m trying to prepare as well as I can and have a plan set up in advance to make the whole transition easier but I’m so overwhelmed rn.
Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated ♥️
How to keep plants safe from children?
Our 2.5 year old loves being out in the garden but has developed a habit of digging up my planters to play with the soil.
I’ve tried making her her own little potting station as she likes to ‘help’ but I feel like this just confused her as she doesn’t understand why she can ‘help’ sometimes and not others.
We have 6ft fences so putting our plants into fence hanging planters wouldn’t work as I’m barely 5ft.
The grass by our fence hasn’t taken (around 1ft or less) because the soil is awful and bindweed is sneaking through. Do I dig the whole bit up, weed killer and then replace with better soil and reseed, or do a stone border?
We have a 2.5 year old who basically lives in the garden, a cat and a baby due in July if this factors in at all.
These both just popped up in the last 2-3 weeks and I have no idea what either are.

We are preparing to Reno the kitchen in our house (moved in 1.5 years ago) what is this the remains of and is it possible to know how long it’s been there
