I built a personal market/news dashboard so I stop tab-switching every morning — dailyhub.io

Side project I've been working on: Daily Hub pulls together live market data (indices, individual tickers), financial news highlights, and a social feed (finance/news accounts) into one customizable dashboard, so you get a "morning briefing" view instead of jumping between five sites.

Would love feedback on the concept and what you'd want to see added — happy to answer questions about how it's built too.

I built a Bloomberg-style 4-panel trading desk in vanilla JS — no framework, one 19k-line file, served from a Cloudflare Worker

New on DailyHub: a full-screen 2×2 trading desk. Bloomberg TV + TradingView charts + live watchlist + AI analyst, all synced to one ticker with a single click.

dashboard that combines live market TV, AI analysis, watchlists, and news into one workspace. Would you actually use something like this?

• Live watchlists

• AI market analysis

• Personalized news

• Live financial TV (Bloomberg, Yahoo Finance, TraderTV, Schwab)

• Everything in one workspace instead of ten different apps.

I built a live market TV switcher into my personal dashboard — would you actually use this?

I’ve been building a personal market dashboard because I was tired of jumping between watchlists, news feeds, charts, and live financial coverage.

This week I added a Live Markets TV section where the user can switch between:

• Bloomberg Television

• Yahoo Finance Live

• TraderTV Live

• Schwab Network

Only one channel plays at a time, and switching channels stops the previous stream so there’s no overlapping audio.

The live TV sits alongside crypto news, watchlists, market context, and personalized picks rather than taking over the whole dashboard.

I’m trying to decide whether this is genuinely useful or just a feature that looks cool.

Would you use live financial TV inside a market dashboard?

And what would matter more to you:

• fast channel switching

• picture-in-picture

• keeping the watchlist visible

• automatic alerts tied to what’s being discussed

• something else?

Honest criticism is welcome.

Imagine if ChatGPT looked like this…

I've been building an AI workspace called DailyHub because I got tired of constantly switching between ChatGPT, Google, YouTube, news sites, market apps, and dozens of browser tabs.

Instead of giving a single chat response, the idea is that every prompt becomes a living dashboard.

For example, if I ask about Tesla, Hub Scout can build a workspace with:

- Live market data

- News

- SEC filings

- Videos

- Real photos

- Charts

- Related companies

Then I can keep expanding it with follow-up prompts like:

- "Add YouTube reviews."

- "Show me the latest photos."

- "Compare it to a competitor."

- "Add pricing."

The dashboard grows instead of starting over every time.

I'm still building it, so I'd genuinely love feedback.

What's one feature that would make something like this useful enough for you to use every day?
