I'm so tired of mosquitoes.

Ever since I was a young child, mosquitoes have loved me. I don't know my blood type, but I'm sure it's whatever the hell they love the most.

I just wanted to enjoy the fireworks for the fourth of july, ended up with at least 8 bites. They swell up so so much on me and itch so bad. My boyfriend had to count how many I had on my back.. 4! And my back was to a chair!

I'm definitely more likely to catch some shit from them, considering how much I am bit.

I had like 3 bites before my bf even noticed they came out. These stupid bugs do nothing for the environment and I unironically don't go outside much during the summer because of them.

I don't know how long I was outside exactly? Maybe an hour? I used bugspray after the first 3 bites and they still bit my face :(

Any historical photographs of tankers with an M3 Trench Knife?

The M3 trench knife was created for issue to those without a rifle or bayonet, which includes tankers. I understand the knife is most commonly seen being used by paratroopers, but I've read that the knife was issued to tankers too.

I have looked for photographs over the past couple of months to no avail, I have yet to see any pictures of a tanker with an M3. Did they exist?

Is this a genuine M3 Fighting knife from WW2?

Boyfriend wanted to get me a birthday present for my impression, and I want to make sure this is genuine. I'm a big fan of the M3 but I'm not too good about spotting the fakes and whatnot.

Why is this happening? Want to know because I have warranty.

Monitor: MSI 4K 240HZ 321UPX OLED 3840x2160

Graphics: Nvidia RTX 5080

Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D

I've only had this monitor for a couple months, bought it from a micro center new. This issue first happened yesterday and went away after I turned it off and on again, then happened again today randomly while playing val. I'm not too concerned because it goes away after I turn my monitor off and on but I'd like to know if this could possibly get worse or whatever since I have a warranty on the monitor.

This display wasn't cheap, cost me about $1k and I'm not sure what this is about. Depending on what is displayed on the screen it gets worse as seen in the video.

This is my second time owning a MSI monitor, the other one I actually had to return because it came damaged with a similar problem.

Nothing seems loose cable wise, I checked. The other monitor had a different cable so I doubt it's that. I'm using the display port cable that came with this monitor.

Blanched zucchini was a hit!

First time feeding veggies, I'm going to do it once or twice a week now for variety. I was always overthinking it because I thought I needed a non sharp skewer, then I learned blanched veggies simply sink.. lol.

Super easy and my fish went crazy!

Proud first time owner of 3 Otocinclus as of today!

I'm still deciding what I want to name them.

They're so cute with their little sucker mouths.

Gonna feed algae wafers tomorrow then try out some blanched veggies!

Feel free to give me any advice you have as a first time owner.

Went fishing for the first time ever last year in Michigan and caught my first lil catfish

On a bobber with a worm. Not sure what cat it is exactly.

Hope the first image makes you smile as much as I did at the time.

Don't mind how dirty my hands were lol, it was my first time using worms (well, fishing at all...) and I was digging for those suckers. I honestly don't know how they got that dirty :P I was having fun.

Haven't caught a catfish since but I'm hoping to soon now that I've been going fishing about once a week for the past month or so. I want to target cats but it's not something I've done before :) they're my favorite catchable freshwater fish.

At the time I had no idea they had barbs so luckily I held the guy safely. Hopefully I can make a new post here when I possibly catch another! I enjoyed scrolling the posts here, especially top of all time and seeing the tiny cats as well as cool ones like albinos.

I bought some tiny catfish lures (Gitzit Baby Blue Eyes) because I think these guys are so goofy and cute. Like they say, some lures don't catch fish, they catch fishermen. Gonna try them out tomorrow hoping to get a bass or really anything. Trying a new spot so we'll see.

I made a post last night about my black kuhli Charcoal becoming more comfortable in the tank, and caught my first video of them eating today! So proud of their progress 💜

Hey! I'm getting a couple Otocinclus once they're out of quarantine at my LFS in a couple days. I'm lost when I think about name ideas. Anyone wanna share some cute or fun names they've given their Otos? I'd love to hear all your great ideas as well as if you have any fun explanations for why you named em that :)
