Hey! I am a newbie wanting to get into sound for tv and film. I have worked in voiceover for a few years so understand the basics, but am hoping to make the switch to TV and Film sets, which is quite a different ball game. Anyone with this experience, I'd love to hear what you think about it, what drew you to it in the first place, and what you love about it!

I have now read through TAW (I wanted to read it first to see what it was all about). I've also been loosely doing morning pages and artists dates here and there, but not fully committed to the program yet.

My main goal right now is to be genuinely more creative. I am an actor and I feel like my creativity is so limited, and stuck at the moment, I find it hard to come up with original ideas and characters and often find myself just copying other actors for inspiration.

I know it sounds like a ridiculous question seeing at this is the whole point of the book! But did TAW open you up to more creativity and original thinking? Sometimes I felt a lot of this book felt more like a self-help book, and I struggled a bit to relate to all the god stuff.

Would love to hear your experiences of it creatively.

And if not, any other books you might recommend for this?

Has anyone read this book? I'm tempted to try it out to help me progress in my VO career. However I'm aware it was written in 2018 and I feel like the industry has changed loooads in the past 8 years.

Does anyone know of any more recent books that are similar?

Some days I seem to have SO many mouth clicks and I don't know why!

Looking for just a basic clip-in ponytail, hoping to not break the bank. I am from London and we have shops selling these on every street corner, especially in our black communities. I found one called 'Cosmetics Republic' but its got sooo many 1 star reviews on Google 😂

I started Prozac 4 months ago, and ever since I have felt extremely tired all morning. Getting up in the morning feels almost impossible, even though I get 7-9 hours sleep most nights.

If I had the choice, I could sleep most of the day, get up for a few hours, and still be able to get a full night's sleep afterwards.

I also find the entire morning I am in a sleepy daze, which takes about 4-5 hours to wear off, then I am usually fine by the afternoon.

I don't drink tea or coffee as it gives me depersonalisation.

Has anyone else found this or have any advice? I am struggling to get up for work, and it is affecting my ability to socialise, work or generally get anything done before the late afternoon.
