Didn’t take me long to get a NY Fries Poutine after yesterday’s post…

I must admit though, this was the weakest i’ve ever gotten from NY Fries. Gravy was noticeably thin and some fries were cooked more than others. Wouldn’t call it a crime but a damn shame my own word went against me, especially seeing it compared to yesterday’s post lol it looks sad to me. I’d give it a generous 6/10, cheese and fries still tasted great for the most part - what do you guys think?

Note - ordered a large classic with extra cheese and gravy (it was layered thank god lots of cheese but the gravy was a disappointment)

Upgraded the shelf finally

Got a bunch of blu ray bday gifts and the KOTH series and ran out of room quick. First pic is the old one. Looks so much nicer on the eyes now 😍 What do we think?

Finally tried Pizza Nerds and… haven’t left the toilet

Fiance and I finally tried Pizza Nerds after hearing so much hype and having mostly disappointing pizza since moving here 2 years ago (Schoolhouse is the BEST but overpriced, other than that we stick to Reginos or a chain).

We got the goat cheese pizza and the pepperoni with truffle honey(?). Maybe it’s just my taste but none of these specialty pizzas really sounded great to me, but I went against my judgement after i’ve seen so much hype on here, tiktok, locals etc. Goat cheese one was great after I plucked off the giant clumps of goat cheese, i’ll admit i’m just not a big goat cheese guy but that was such an awful combination. I liked the pepperoni one enough but it wasn’t anything spectacular, and she hated the truffle oil/honey.

Worst part is, it’s given us both severe diarrhea for almost a whole 24 hours. Got up at 4AM today after crazy stomach pains and explosiveness.

So… what’s with the hype?? It’s got a decent dough, pretty good sauce, but the specialty combinations are just whack to me. We loveeee neapolitan style pizza but found even subpar spots back in Toronto/Pickering were wayyyy better.

Do we just have lower standards for pizza out here? For more context we first lived in Vanier for a year and tried every single “hole in the wall” “local” looking pizza spot - all of them, shockingly terrible.

First time watch - S11 is a lot better than I thought

I’m currently halfway through Season 11 on my first watch ever - absolutely loving it btw, got really hooked around Season 4 and been obsessed ever since - but it’s really impressing me how great the show still is running through Season 11 now.

I felt the show started getting a lot sillier around Season 8, and that still holds true, it’s not as much “dry humour” as it is from S1-5ish, bit more outlandish and cartoony (for lack of a better term), but it’s still great and hilarious. Would only consider it a decline in quality if i’m being super critical.

I just watched the episode where Hank becomes addicted to the ‘Pro Pain’ video game - honestly felt it was maybe a top 10 episode in the whole series. Just crazy to me I’m still feeling that. When I first started, I really thought I’d get tired of it or the quality would decline heavy by Season 9-10.

Anyway just wanted to post as i’ve been lurking for a while. Top tier comfort show for me now! Can’t wait to start it all over again and someday find the DVD’s 🔥

Any similar takes or thoughts from when yall first experienced the show?
