What is a "Wiring Plan"?

My ONT box needed to be repaired and I was told that I needed to be on a wiring plan for $15/mo (for one year) or pay a $150 re-wiring fee. What sort of plan is this and why am I paying more to have normal service?

The chat customer support rushed me out when I declined the plan and just sent me a new Eeros (won't help me).

Edit: There is another thread that explains nearly word for word my exact issue. Even the timeframes match, as my issues also started 2 months ago where I was given a new ONT for my 1G network plan:

What Table for a Voron 2.4, 350mm?

I never imaged how difficult it could be to find a table for a 3D printer, but as it seems, all the tables in my home aren't really built for a 3D printer. The wobbles could be acceptable to a Core One printer, but for my upcoming Voron 2.4, 350m, I think this one at least deserves it's own dedicated table.

Conditions I would like:
- Weight limit of 180kg (or 400lb)
- Dimensions of 48inx30in minimum
- Study on an acceptable level (subjective to all, and I'm depending on people's table feedbacks to their respective tables!)
- Does NOT need to be adjustable, but would be nice
- Does NOT need shelves/storage, but would be nice

Tables I've considered:

  1. Uplift 48x30. Tried and true, I have a larger Uplift that I use as my personal table, this should be able to handle a 3D Printer.
  2. Husky. A very close pick, but there's no Husky tables at a depth of 30in that I could find.
  3. Uline. A very acceptable table, but may just be a hair out of my budget tolerance; I'm trying to find something cheaper first.

The Voron 2.4 will be my first major 3D printer (with my first being a Prusa Core One, assembled by me) and I can sort of see the shortfalls of my current setup with my Core One, so I really want to prepare for an even bigger 3D printer

Voron 2.4 LDO Discounts Question

I just passed my big boy licensure exam and I'm rewarding myself with a Voron!

I own and built a Prusa Core One kit, so currently I have a 3D printer, but the Prusa ecosystem is all I know and this would be my first Voron 3D printer and entry into the Voron community.

Is this price ($1300) for a 350mm bed comparable to what discounts exist on events like Black Friday? I couldn't find a lot of information about Black Friday sales for the Voron 2.4 LDO kit.

UHK 80 for Gaming?

I currently use and love a ZSA MK I Moonlander, but I'm very used to using the F-keys and using a toggle doesn't really cut it sometimes. Excellent for non-gaming though

So I've been looking for a split keyboard that has a standard layout, wireless, and has F keys, and the UHK 80 seems to fit the bill exactly as how I've asked.

I wanted to know from other people with this keyboard if it's acceptable for gaming or what issues you have with this particular keyboard for gaming.

Open to other suggestions too!

This is a pro-Linux post

This is probably a skill issue and I could disable automatic updates or whatever, but that actually pmo

I left my Legion Go 2 on standby/idle mode, and when I returned, it wouldn’t let me use my pin to enter Windows. Then I saw that it was insisting on updating, but a storm knocked out my internet the other night and I need a tech to come check on my internet, so it wasn’t able to update.

There was absolutely no workaround to entering Windows, trying my pin would lead to an error message, same with my Microsoft account password (obviously because I had no internet). It absolutely wanted to restart and update

I’m not even sure if even if I had internet, it would let me back into Windows and prompt me to update later.

So yeah, insta installing Steam OS the moment it gets a stable release in June…
