Accelerated Aviation in Owatonna Minnesota

Has anyone going through this flight school, especially recently? I’m looking for schools and this one stuck out to me, daily training, only one instructor through your licenses, efficient, and it seems pretty cost effective assuming your quick at learning and good at self-study and memorization. Just wondering if anyone’s gone here and could give a review on what they thought?

Crashed drone into muddy water

So, as title says. I crashed the drone into muddy water. Retrieved it, rinsed it off heavily with distilled water, dried it with a compressor and air dry, then rinsed it heavily in 91% iso while also brushing all the board and visibly seen components with a brush, dried with air compressor (and non of the connections disconnected while doing so) and air dried further. Plugged a new battery in, it powers on, video feed is received, and controller connects. However in video feed, it reads that battery voltage is dead zero. As well, the drone does not arm nor indicates it’s armed in the visual feed. Not 100% sure what could be wrong, but I’d love some suggestions

Problem solved (kinda). Full stack is cooked.

Clean wipe via usb, boots to bios nothing else

So as the title says. I tried clean wiping my pc using a usb instillation media tool, and now my pc boots to bios no matter what. Only devices installed are m.2 drives, which the one that has the windows installation on it is being read in the bios menu. The correct boot drive is placed on the top stack of the boot order list. I’ve tried resetting the cmos battery and such, tried power cycling my pc a few times, and I’m not sure what to do. Never had this problem before

Did I screw up my UF.L connector

As the title says. Was trying to soldering on a UF.L connector, and I think I might have taken the soldering pad or whatever it’s called off I think. I’m not 100. Also, I believe that the pad that I believe to be removed was the data pad for the connector

3.5” with 5mm shaft props

Does anyone have any good recommendations for any props that are 3.5” and have 5mm shaft and not the one with 2 holes instead. Making a build with 3550kv motors running 4cell 850mah meant for freestyling and occasional cruising.

Question about the different in temperatures of liquid coolant vs cpu under load

So, this boils down to while running vr, specifically on vrchat so a lot of models are being rendered, which I’d guess is very intensive for the cpu, the cpu temp sits at about roughly 83C. While I check my liquid temp to be at about 33C or so. I use a 420mm radiator cooled by 3 140mm fans. It’s the Corsair H170I Elite. The cpu is a 7800X3D. The ambient room temp is about 68F or so. Generally I do have an external fan blowing in the direction of the computer to cool it and myself down since the air circulates pretty good. Would these temperature differences be normal for this type of load? Or could this possibly be due to improper seating of the pump and or poor thermal paste/application.

Ive been using it for a while, but the drones feel so incredibly floaty, like a balloon. Ive tried fiddling with the physics and such, but I just cant for the life of me get it to feel right to how they actually fly. Does anyone have any good recommendations on some physics settings to make it feel more realistic?
