Anybody else got a girl with a nose smudge?

These guys showed up between the bricks of my patio today. I’ve been misting it pretty regularly to encourage moss growth, and I’m thrilled whenever I get bonus fungi! Can anybody ID? SC Midlands

Found this thing on the sidewalk in the park the morning after a heavy rainstorm. Last picture is the tree it may have fallen out of. Yes, I poked it. It was squishy but firm.

UPDATE
Guys after doing a little more investigating, I am 99% sure that this thing is a giant regurgitated sac of frog eggs. There’s a pond nearby with lots of wildlife. Reading about Star jelly, which was mentioned in a downvoted comment, I learned that dna tests have shown that these blobs people thought came from space were sometimes the remains of a frog’s egg sac that had been regurgitated by whatever ate the frog. That’s gotta be what this is.
The part I’m stuck on is this thing is like the size of my foot, so how big was the frog it used to be inside? And what ate that giant ass frog??

I rescued these beauties from a neglected median today!
