Hey everyone,
I am looking to upgrade my phone and I’m trying to figure out which iPhone model would be the best fit for me. I'm currently leaning toward the iPhone 17, but I am completely open to other iPhones in general depending on what makes the most sense for my needs.
Here is what I mainly use my phone for:
Social Media: Lots of daily scrolling, browsing, and messaging.
Web Browsing & Reading: Constantly searching for information, reading articles, and doing web research.
Light Gaming: I play games like Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel and Duel Links. I don't do heavy gaming on my main device (I plan to keep an older phone just to handle heavier titles like Genshin Impact, so this new phone won't be pushed to the absolute max).
Camera: I want a really good, sharp camera for regular everyday photos and videos, especially when I go out traveling.
My biggest priorities:

1. Battery Life: I absolutely need the battery to comfortably last a full day (at least 8 hours of active screen time).
2. Thermals: I hate when a phone gets uncomfortably hot in the hand during normal tasks or light gaming sessions.
   Given my usage, which iPhone do you think is the best choice right now? Is the iPhone 17 the sweet spot for a cool, long-lasting daily driver, or is there another iPhone model that would be a better value for me?
