For context, I’ve been friends with this girl for less than nine months. We live very close together, and we have quite a few things in common. We get along really good and have such an incredible time when we are together. We honestly became extremely close friends within the first two weeks of meeting.
about a month ago - we got into an argument, via text,(unfortunately- having a serious conversation is super inappropriate over text and should be avoided all costs in my opinion) during the argument ,very quickly, I realized that not only was she not taking any accountability or responsibility, but just mostly refuse to acknowledge my feelings and did not apologize.
It was very confusing for me because multiple times in our friendship she’s always said to me “I love you so much. I’m so glad that we met. I’ve never been able to connect with anybody as much as you and I’m so happy you’re in my life.”
Yet as soon as we had this argument, she did not talk to me for nearly 3 weeks, she canceled a vacation We had planned together months prior, and she had also removed her location. I was genuinely surprised she didn’t unfollowed me from Instagram.
After 3 weeks- she RANDOMLY FaceTime me out of the blue and said “hey what’s up love you miss you. Vacation is going great blah blah blah” & all of that jazz- I reciprocated the energy.
We have never spoken about the disagreement we had over.
I have read about bipolar two disorder and have seen that sometimes very difficult to take accountability, or realize what they have done wrong. I don’t want to stigmatize, but I’m not somebody that can get into an argument and then never discuss it/not get through it.
I am divergent and I take my friendships very seriously/I have a very small circle of very close friends.
As of today, everything is “great”. It’s really uncomfortable for me to have an argument with somebody that I’m very close with and then sweep it under the rug and get over it like nothing ever happened.
BTW- at one point (about 2 weeks ago) I did text her and apologize on my behalf for maybe coming off “too strong” and she said
“oh no everything is great!!! I’m not mad at all. You didn’t overreact at all.“
It’s very confusing? 🫤 it would be nice if I could ask her why did you feel comfortable ignoring me for literally three weeks straight but everything in our friendship is going right right back to normal so I’m not even sure if it’s worth it..?
My boyfriend it’s kind of an asshole in regards to the fact that he has TERRIBLE communication. Today I told my boyfriend I felt very unloved, unwanted and unheard, and he proceeded to tell me that he wants to be my boyfriend but he would be OK if we weren’t together
I need advice. I’m starting to feel resentment and hate towards him.
We have an expensive life together paying thousands of dollars a month for our house, partying, going out to eat constantly, exotic trips, and mall excursions on paper. Everything seems perfect, but he is horrible at communicating. I am his first real girlfriend and I have had personally many relationships of my own with one serious relationship (2+years) prior to this.
My boyfriend asked me for space today, which is extremely infuriating because he has told me multiple times He’s been alone almost his entire life and he’s OK with it
so why did you ever ask to date me??
Sometimes I think about my ex-boyfriend
I just want to talk to him, not necessarily flirt with him, but just hear his voice but it’s totally inappropriate and inconceivable that I would want to replace my current relationship with something from the past. I don’t know how to feel and I’m very confused.
