The .99 cents minimum 'service fee' charge is atrocious for throwaway items. I mean, at times the produce is fit for garbage and many times when you go make the trip to the store even when you were not planning on going out, the item is missing. Now they want .99 plus tax as service fee, so you need to buy more than $12 to bypass the minimum fee. Lost the appeal. Keep it and let it rot.

I no longer can eat eggs and all my recipes need me to include them. I cant eat flax seed either and am looking for a recipe that excludes these along with any fancy flours except coconut flour. Anyone help me with one you have experienced with? Thank you.
It has been horrendous because I cant stop crying for my baby boy who left us almost 4 weeks ago. I cant forget his last moments, the pain he was going through and the goodbyes we had to say. I cant let in the good times we had because I am grieving every time I think of our loss. It is so very hard because there is so much silence in my heart, I miss his little whimpers, his yelps of excitement, his happiness when preparing to taking him outdoors or giving him his home-cooked meals, which although always the same, he still got excited. His happiness when we always took him on our travels to get away from winters here. I miss his unconditional love. And now, everything seems hopeless. How long is this going to on for, for us to enjoy the good memories of having him in our lives for 13 years? He was a great boy, extremely well mannered and beautiful. I miss you so, so much, my love.
Our dearest 12 year old was scheduled for dental extractions and cleaning but a week before he was hanging his head and seemed to be in pain looking up and panting. Took him to emergency where they indicated it was most likely a neurological disk issue and gave him meds indicating they 'might' work. Even though it was a nerve issue, we wanted to take the chance and make it work and they did for a couple of days and then yesterday, he would not eat breakfast, would not take the meds and just hung his head and was unable to push forward with his front paws. Shrieking whenever we touched him or if he moved the wrong way. He was in a lot of pain and discomfort. We then knew it was time and rushed him to ER where they let him go comfortably. He was at peace, smiled at us and closed his eyes forever. This is day 2 of his passing and we are shattered with the emptiness and lack of purpose given we have nothing to do now. Tears dont stop, although we have great memories of being together as a trio and traveling for long periods of time, the last few days of his life seem to be etched in our memories. My little beautiful prince is gone forever.
Very bad experiences. Firstly, they charged me in USD when my account has and still is set to CAD. I paid 30% more as a result. I did not learn from that experience and placed another order. Got the wrong item. Spoke with CS and was sent a label to send it back for 'inspection' even though I sent all the photos showing the incorrect item. OK, sent it back. Few hours later, got an email saying they did not send me an incorrect item which is bullshit as I have proof. So, I lost that money too because they will get the item back and not refund me. I would much rather pay higher amount on amazon and get better results.

I dont take the TTC often, but lately when I have, it has been a bad experience in terms of reliability and filth. However, yesterday I took Line 5 and had a great experience. Good seats, clean and a nice view from the window along with the smoothness, made it for a better experience.

My dog is 13 and needs a tooth extracted. I am looking for a dentist in the downtown area that will do the extraction with minimal anaesthesia, given he has a heart murmur as well. Anyone with good experiences along with the costs associated for this? Thanks.

I have made three purchases in the recent past on Shein and they have all gone through as the currency I have on my settings (CAD). However, when I placed an order last week, I was charged in USD. Contacted Shein and was told my order was in USD but when I check my settings, the currency is still at CAD. All the items I purchased were quoted in CAD. Was I deliberately overcharged? How does that even happen? Anyone gone through this annoying way of doing business? Or am I missing something here?
I have ordered several times from Costco Business Center via Instacart but just noticed they now are charging a 'distance' fee to deliver downtown. Is thing new bc I have never seen this before.
