This revolver looks mighty impressive, seems to be getting good marks from reviewers apart from usual S&W wheelgun QC chicanery... anyone seen it for rental at any ranges in the area?
For those who don't remember: Rock Band 1 and/or 2 had an achievement called "bladder of steel" which required you playing through the entire base setlist without failing a song or pausing the game. The former was simple enough (there was no difficulty floor so you could just do it on easy if you had to), but the latter was the real challenge. It was something like 6 hours straight of gameplay.
Normal people would've just had friends over and taken turns, but I'm proud (and ashamed) to say I got it by myself one evening. It was probably summer or winter break... I just decided I was going to go for it and did it. There were a few songs with extended breaks where you could quickly get up and go to the bathroom, and you bet your ass I took those chances when they came up.
Anyone else remember doing that absurd achievement?
Interesting article cataloguing the history of harm reduction models for drug abuse and how they have changed over time. What started as a noble cause has led to a ton of unintended consequences that are negatively affecting life for residents of cities, often the residents with the fewest means to move.
Went ahead and got a 43X MOS today. I decided I’d like to have the wide world of Glock stuff available to me. Can’t really deny how every damn holster maker, accessory maker, even training aids etc support Glock.
Any recs on holsters? I’ve used Tenicor and Tulster in the past. Might run a TLR-7x Sub on it, maybe not, so lights are optional but def need the RDO cut. I carry AIWB got a bit of a belly so anything that plays nicely would be good. Also curious if anyone would rec a 48 holster for the extra length to fight grip tip-out…
Has to be one of my favorite albums of theirs (though that's like picking a favorite pet or child), and I've listened to the lyrics somewhat closely, but I've never quite understood what the story is. I know there's a presumed despot known as the Blast Tyrant, and "Weathermaker" makes me think he knows Spanish which is neat, but what else is going on in the world of Blast Tyrant? Who was Sheriff Jackson? Was the woman on the hill in a wide-brimmed hat allied with El Tirano Maldito?
I’m trying to add more whimsy to my lawn and want to get some kinetic action going with whirligigs. I’ve found some good online shops but I’d love to support a local artisan (and see them in action before buying). Anyone know of a place in town or the metroplex that sells them? Not looking for just some made in china reseller, I’ve got Amazon or Wallyworld for that…
My girl’s kid got this ditty stuck in her head… it sounds very familiar to all of us but we can’t figure out what it is for the life of us. Any ideas?
Update: she was confirmed to be a feline student, so we have let her stay on her turf
Visiting y’all’s lovely city, we were out for a walk on the campus just now and found this friendly black cat. Pink collar, has a rabies vaccine tag and what looks like an AirTag holder that’s missing the AirTag.
I made the questionable decision of getting a revolver in .32 H&R. It’s fun to shoot, lovely to carry, but finding ammo is a pain. Bass Pro doesn’t carry it or any of the smaller sibling calibers. Got an LGS that has H&R but it is not cheap (their prices are in line with what’s online, it’s just an expensive caliber). .32 S&W Long or Short would be ideal for training purposes cause it’s a lot cheaper, but I’ve yet to find a store with either.
Any recommendations?
Interesting article from the Dallas Business Journal, they filed open records requests for the call for concepts the city is doing for City Hall and have been a bit stonewalled.
