Rare boss marrow drop confirms heavy lore regarding Moon God Dottore.

The AQ vaguely hinted Dottore was dying (did not have much time left) and wanted to commit a suicidal bang / "funeral".

But it wasn't just the new Exalted Heretic... The moon marrow drop shows Omega divided himself + planned for the False Moon God to die.

>I perceive a truly magnificent scene: one half of my soul enters the Ley Lines through death, while the remaining half is injected as pure data. My two halves would then navigate those pathways to converge with the information of the past. It would be possible for me, in this manner, to achieve the preservation of my memories.

>We might consider that as one of death's rare oversights. Something that is even more eternal than eternal life itself? Hehe... An immortal record would certainly satisfy that definition, of course.

Back in 6.3, when he suddenly switched to "wanna kill innocent people?" while speaking to the traveler, that was probably him giving up on recruiting (Like Pantalone gave up and used stall tactics) and proceeding to rage bait the traveler and everyone else to get blasted to bits.

That's also why he opened the sky to let them reach the moon more easily and constantly looked like he was stalling.

The saddest part? The only character that appears to have noticed Dottore's fate was to commit suicide was Pantalone. He even commented to Dottore he put himself in a position he couldn't be brought back, to which he just laughed. (Is he laughing at fate screwing him up or that Pantalone noticed Dottore knew he wasn't getting out alive and was not talking seriously?)

Also, that line about knowing Dottore would fail but still showing up for him + he mentioned Dottore fighting fate to the traveler.

Back in January I made a theory post regarding Dottore's fate being tied to an apocalypse but him letting a descender (who severs fate) kill him instead of destroying the world.

His fate was never elaborated in detail so we may never know if that theory was right but the suicide part is there.

Melanta's story was foreshadowing Dottore up to his death. Even as far as playing Escher.

Nihilita escaped his fate and is still out there fighting the traveler to "gather data" (his defeat line) and Maki left with no memories.

Don't know if this could be foreshadowing something too but pointing it out.

Robot Dottore theory / what about his playable sheet with the Watcher eye?

We had a line of Pantalone joking about being Dottore's God and a missing Watcher eye Dottore from the playable sheet, perhaps Pantalone shall play God by somehow making a Dottore Watcher or robot with his memories...

Looking at the segment pictures in the AQ, I noticed there is no reveal of the mechanical eye in the playable sheet that the 3d model also got... Old Zandik didn't even have a mechanical eye.

I acknowledge there is a % chance the playable sheet got discarded BUT the Escher mystery was never solved and it's odd how much Moontorre mirrors the watcher designs.

There was this line by Siraj (2nd picture) and a new sage pretending to be a robot contraption that joked about destroying humanity. (Possible foreshadowing)

Datatorre told Pantalone that he disliked being restricted as a segment entity but never explained how he would fix that.

However, there is this suspicious text in a marrow.

>Digitization... That's a splendid idea.

(Could this be about transferring his memories unto a robot, thus discarding all human flesh? The segments created some sort of medicine for themselves, they weren't fully puppets like Scara and likely had an unknown portion of biological parts.

This fits Pantalone saying goodbye to Omega and an actual reason for Datattore using his limited time to dig up info on Scara. Adventure Time spoiler >!Flin's mother kills herself to turn into a digital consciousness !<

Never expected to bring up AT on a Dottore post, lmao

There is a scientist IRL that predicted injecting human consciousness into robots will happen in the future and Hoyo are aware because the book is called "Singularity is Near" and there is a quest in Fontaine called "Road to Singularity."

**Hehe... An immortal record would certainly satisfy that definition, of course.**

What if, a playable Dottore is actually a robot or Watcher type of creation that Pantalone will inject his memories into? (This fits his playable sheet). Would he have no soul.. or will Pantalone find a way to solve this? As u/Silver_Rose pointed out, the marrows look like hearts, which is sus.

"An immortal record" sounds like something different than the creation of Datatorre himself and the reason why his memories are leaking out of the tree.

Also, my theory about OG Zandik having replaced his eyes was wrong BUT

This leaves the question of why did the Nahida tale Dottore monster have only 1 eye in the middle + tiny birds?

u/iTarnished mentioned it might be time shenanigans and segment scapegoating for the Niwa murder (if so, Dottore has reached spiderman meme levels of this, holy shit.)

How? Perhaps a combined effort of Moontorre and Datatorre or the latter. Data looked for the Scaramouche file, it might have created a loop to set him up. Experiment giving the heart to Scaramouche because it's something he wants to do for himself to fix his future missing soul problem.

This explains why the Dotto looks at his reflection and thinks he is a monster + has 1 eye in the middle, he was not Zandik.

Another sign of time shenanigans is it's weird the Escher Dottore copied was older than the one in ToS. Moontorre may have left some sort of time loops for Data to use, like that 6.3 note about the time trekker. I thought the note referred to Columbina but perhaps they both used this tactic.

Pierro may be involved in the mess since he was mentioned in the Tatarasuna flashback.

Finally, it would at least make sense that Omega , who mentioned planning his funeral and having limited time left, tried to create a new Dottore version that would not be a segment, not carry their sins but have their memories. This fits what he told Nahida long ago about "creating new perspectives."

Edit- forgot to say it's mentioned Zandik somehow manipulated time to create the segments with 0 explanations...

I know people, including myself, have lost hope and are very disappointed so this may look as wild copium ramblings. Perhaps but I was at least able to predict Omega was acting suicidal, Moontorre died as planned (it's in the marrow) and Dottore was fated to die soon.

My hope is to be right about a Dottore leaving a way for another to live on.

The Devs trolled heavily with interactive NPCs at the start

I was very hopeful at first... Because of this, I thought we might finally have some new Sohreh lore but nope, just hours and hours of NPCs and chars yapping...

There were also what I thought were hints for Dottore's motivations:

- someone buying a weapon in order to maintain peace like the recent event villain.

 • a man that needs a robot contraption to live saying "i am a robot that will destroy the world! Then just kidding"

- a child saying "when I grow up, I want to be an Eremite!"

Which I thought was a callback to Dottore's hinted fondness of eremites.

Toy dragon Durin also lamented sadly at his reflection in a pond

Perhaps this was foreshadowing for Dottore since they both have robotic pieces and ties with Scaramouche.

Edit- forgot to say that by foreshadowing I meant that Dottore is also not a monster to just be killed ---

I'm feeling anxious at 6.6 getting close so coping by making more posts 🥲

Nicole's teaser showcasing HP as the big baddie looks promising

I got so excited from the trailer that I had to say something...

This is practically portraying that Dottore's view of fate is justified.

Someone even insinuates that fate could lead the world to destruction... Which reminded me of the Dottore's fate being tied to an apocalypse theory that I keep yapping about.

Sorry if this seems too off topic, I was scared to comment this elsewhere and get dogpiled

Edit- forgot to say it's implied something must be sacrificed to defy Phanes

6.6 Livestream reactions

I'm still on a trip abroad but made a quick meme about how seeing Chibitorre felt

I don't think Hoyo would waste money on famous VAs doing marketing for a character they plan to just kill off.

(Plus the other chibis were not constantly hostile towards him)

They are both falling with an upwards outstretched left arm and right hand down.

Back in January I made a post regarding the Hanged Man card possibly being related to Dottore. Some dismissed it because it's a Khaenriahn, likely Hroptatyr, in the drawing but I think it's supposed to be an allegory parallel.

6.3 fit this because it seemed like he let go of his strength (the Trilune) to go after the "mysteries of the demonic heavens hanging from the white tree (Irminsul)" instead.

The Hanged Man card is supposed to be a person willing to put themselves in that position, so it may be an indicator that he is planning 6.6's events and will survive because of the traditional meaning of the card (click the image because the preview cropped the most important part) + the IT card says he sacrifices "strength" not life.

I'm leaving the card's description for anyone interested:

>The opulent light sinks into the dark depths beneath the earth,

Seeking to redeem the radiance that is fated to be extinguished.

>Yet "redemption" is a word filled with arrogance,

There is an implicit meaning hidden within,

That mortals have done some clear wrong that must be corrected.

>The path where "strength" is sacrificed for "human wisdom",

Is that of the "Hanged Man" who seeks to glimpse the mysteries of the demonic heavens hanging from the white tree.

Though the intelligence that mortals grasp is flawed,

It cannot be said to be false.

Quite the opposite, for reflected in his inverted eyes,

Is a pure truth illuminated beneath infinite brilliance.

This is a joke post, I did not take that OOP seriously.

All that said, I'm kinda screwed since I don't like any other ongoing media char as much as Dottore.🫠

I am also very hyped for Why-man (Doctor Stone) >!but he is hiding his appearance!< and I refuse to look at manga leaks
