EPUB issue
Not sure if it’s a coincidence but since the recent problems, none of the epub downloads I’ve sent to my Kindle, have page count features. Only location in book. Never an issue previously though. Anyone else notice this please?

Anyone here using either of these f1.7 lenses please? Looking for opinions on autofocus performance and image quality. Also are they really big?
Thanks.
These are 3 of my latest attempts. I was wondering if anyone could help me improve please?
I’m not happy with the sharpness I’m getting. Probably my lack of ability.
Set up is Olympus E-M10ii with a vintage Minolta MD Tele Rokkor 300mm f4.5. Settings were f8, ISO1000, shutter speed of between 1/800 and 1/2000. Manual focus with peaking and centre weighted metering. Distances to subjects was around 30 feet. Images have been slightly cropped but no other post processing.
I’m also not really happy with the overall lack of detail.
Thanks for any help.
Hope it’s ok to ask this here. Apologies if not.
I rarely drink, and when I do it’s usually bottled beer ice cold.
Recently I’ve been thinking about trying some Scotch whiskey. But I have absolutely no idea where to start.
I don’t want to spend too much, but I also don’t want to buy something that will put me off!
My only experience with whiskey is from when my Dad used to buy a bottle around Christmas time. These were the likes of Bell’s, Teachers, Johnnie Walker Red Label and Famous Grouse. My memories of these are that I wasn’t really fond of them.
So where should I start? Blends? Single Malts. Malt blends?
Thanks for any help.
I’m in Thailand by the way so many brands are not available here, but I’ve found a couple of online retailers.
My bird photos are mostly like these. Soft. Can anyone help please?
These were taken with an E-M10ii and Minolta MD Tele Rokkor 300mm. 1/1000 shutter speed, f4.5 aperture, ISO200, single small focus point and spot metering.
Birds were about 30 feet away. Very slight breeze.
Am I just missing focus? (It’s a MF lens). I’m using peaking. Or is there something else I’m doing wrong?
Thanks.
I’m interested in trying to get some Milky Way core images over the next few months. What would be a suitable focal length to use please? Do I need to go as wide as possible (10mm etc), or would 15mm, 17mm or 20mm suffice?
Cheers.
So. The buckle came off the original strap on my Khaki Field Automatic 38mm (both leather loops that hold the spring bar in place have broken), and now I’m going to look for new strap replacements.
For those that have this watch, and have removed the original strap, what strap(s) did you replace it with please?
I’m only interested in straps not bracelets.
Cheers!
