I might’ve misplaced my IUD with a menstrual disc a week after getting it inserted😭

Yep got my copper IUD inserted last Monday and it made my period come 4 days early which has never happened. It was as everyone says really painful cramps and heavier flow. Before this I was an avid cup user but I knew cups were absolutely not to be used with an iud but I read that the disc was okay because it didn’t suction. Howeverrrrr when I took it out it hurt like a bitch even though I knew to take it out super slow and carefully. I went to feel the strings and it felt like one reallyyy long one. Sooo I think I did displace it. It also hurt really bad to sit on the toilet but I just took a dump and now it doesn’t hurt? Idk I’m still gonna go to the clinic tomorrow to get it checked out but does anyone know if I can just get another plopped back up in there right after getting one removed?

Been a long time coming with the IUD just haven’t had insurance the past 2 years since having my daughter. But I CAN NOT fall pregnant atm because I’m going to school and will be working with things pregnant women can’t work with.

- blueberries, strawberries & honey on top of cottage cheese

Edit: I appreciate everyone telling me to ask for pain management but unfortunately i still don’t have insurance and I’m getting it at my local health department so I think 800mg of ibuprofen will have to do🥲

My biggest goal in life was to become a sex counselor/ therapist. However, when I was a senior in high school and it came time to apply to colleges I was so anxious and seeing my 2 best friends apply to 20+ colleges also got in my head so I ended up not applying at all.

In between that time and now I had a child and decided to go back to school for my 2nd passion which was esthetics. So I’m currently in the esthitician program at a really good technical college but after I get my license I want to go back for an associate/bachelors but idk how I’d do that and also work as an esthetician AND still have time for my family. Also idek what path I could take to become a sex therapist😭 I’ve read you have to have a phd but I’ve also read that you don’t? Idk what to do someone pls help!!!

Me(23F) and my husband(23M) recently started dabbling in anal, and I like it so much more than he does. Every time I mention doing it again he says it’s too much work even though I’m the one doing all the prep work. Right now I can’t have vaginal sex due to a yeast infection and I REALLY want anal but he just does not seem into it and says vaginal is better. I’m really trying not to take it personally but it keeps nagging at me mentally.

Edit: yall I’m not pestering him for anal so the fact that already I’m getting comments that boundaries and consent is a thing and telling me to stop asking it WILD bc I don’t mention it often. I’ve mentioned it maybe twice I’m not trying to force him into anal with me. I literally just wanted advice on what I could do instead.

I’m having a hard time deciding which route I wanna take with my instagram handle. I’m not usually on social media but I want to broaden my clientele.

Few things about me…

My name is Adrianna I’m from a very southern state. I specialize in facials and hyperpigmentation treatments. I also do lashes, brows, intimate waxing etc. I want to have a username that lets people know I’m more on the holistic side than medical.

For the past week I’ve had pain when I pee and it had a smell to it so today I went to my local health department (no insurance) and they tested me for everything. No UTI which is what I expected but I do have bacterial vaginosis and the nurse said she saw a trich cell in the microscope but she’s sending the swab off to get tested. My head is spinning and idk what to think. I truly don’t think my husband would ever cheat on me because when he isn’t home he’s working nonstop (firefighter & national guard medic). The nurse said it doesn’t mean I have trich but they’re going to make sure I don’t have that and chlamydia or gonorrhea. However my husband has had weird symptoms like random testicular pain and pain in the testicles after ejaculation. My last STI/STD test was in 2023 and it was negative and he gets tested at both jobs during his physicals and he’s always negative. Am I overthinking this?

Update: I’ll have my results back by the end of the week so I’ll update everyone once I know for sure. Thank you to the people telling me not to spiral and jump to conclusions. I know that’s common sense but you never know especially because his profession(s) don’t have the best track record when it comes to cheating statistics. I trust my husband to a fault because he is such an honest person and we tell each other literally everything so if I do have something other than BV I will be so devastated.
