He also tried to insert RAM sticks after rubbing them with an eraser to remove corrosion. Using an eraser is not an issue. It makes sense to think that it effectively removes corrosion in the gold pins.

But he didn't cleaned it after that. He popped in one stick straight away and it made me cringe and then the second RAM had the rubber particle from the eraser in the gold pin. I stopped him and made him clean that before he inserted it. I guess it could have easily made the slot unusable as the rubber particle could have melted in heat and clogged it.

I think that's where I got into his head.

After clearly explaining that I have recently replaced everything for better heat dissipation and also the SSD is not working even when I use it in my SSD enclosure, he never listened and removed the heat sink saying he HAS TAKE A LOOK TO SEE IF THERE IS A SHORT IN THE PROCESSOR. He just took a glance and complained that the thermal paste has dried up. I literally choking and couldn't explain it again that it is a Phasesheet and it changes to liquid when it gets hot.

I questioned him why he has to remove the heatsink and how it can retain the performance it can before. It was air tight when he removed it. He basically pryed it open. He simply said he can replace the thermal paste. I was like, "dude it's not a generic tub you buy for 10 dollars and use it for 20 laptops".

Luckily there was another senior technician and I said I wanted to him to diagnose the laptop. He diagnosed and confirmed that SSD is faulty.

Now my laptop is with them for SSD replacement.

I need your help guys. How to proceed further to get my thermal performance back and I don't want their generic thermal paste which dries up in 3 months

I always achieve my side goals by being consistent and strictly adhering with the process. I used to have goals like fitness and health, spirituality and multiple other things. I am making steady progression in these areas. But I am not progressing in things that matter the most and things I consider pretty serious like making more money, studying etc., Even though I absolutely know they are relatively far easier to achieve.

Is there anyone like me having the same problem?

In my area ours and few more houses are experiencing frequent power outages multiple times throughout the day. It severely affects the quality of sleep and quality of life itself.

When I try to call the EB office, the line stays busy.

Previously lived in an area where my neighbour had political influence. The power never goes off. Even during heavy rain.

How to solve this problem as a common man? How to raise a complaint? What would the reclaimchennai guy do in this situation?

I don't want to invest 20,000 - 30,000 for an inverter to make up for poor service from the government.
