Men of Singapore: what’s something women think impresses men… but actually does the opposite?

Could be anything: makeup, dressing a certain way, dressing sexily, having a good figure, acting cute, being into video games, being financially independent or successful, making a lot of money, being knowledgeable about politics/current affairs, being highly educated, having strong opinions, being very independent, or being the “smart woman” that many guys say they want. Basically, anything women might reasonably think men find attractive whether being traditional or more modern but actually has the opposite effect. Playing hard to get, texting games, showing off your lifestyle, expensive bags, constantly posting on social media, etc. are fair game too.

So asking the men here:

What’s something Singaporean women often do because they think it makes them more attractive, but it actually makes you less interested?

And to make it more interesting, what’s something seemingly small or ordinary a woman does that is surprisingly attractive?

Curious to see how much the answers differ between men and women.

Woodlands is the new Yishun

  1. Police arrested a lorry driver last Thursday (16 July) after his heavy vehicle was involved in an accident with a taxi in Woodlands.

The incident sent both the cabby and his passenger to the hospital.

  1. A man has been arrested and charged in court after allegedly molesting a woman at a mall in Woodlands.

The mall in question is located directly opposite the Woodlands Police Division headquarters

  1. 😡 A drunk man, 56, asked a 14-year-old girl to drink with him at a coffeeshop in Woodlands.

He then threw a glass & a chair at her after being rejected.

Where do you buy authentic perfume at a good price in Singapore?

I usually buy my Dior Sauvage Parfum (the Johnny Depp one) from Sephora, but the staff member I used to buy from has left.

I'm now looking for other places to buy authentic perfume in Singapore, preferably at a better price using vouchers or promotions.

Has anyone bought genuine Dior fragrances from Shopee Mall? Is it safe, or would you recommend other authorised retailers instead?

Would appreciate any recommendations.

Many thanks in advanced!
