What's something that everyone in Ireland loves but you just don't get?

I'll start: I don't get everyone's obsession with Taytos. Don't get me wrong, they're fine but I just don't think they're a national treasure like everyone says. Personally I'd take a pack of Taytos or a pack of Pringles. It really makes no difference. I haven't had a pack of Taytos in nearly a week and I honestly don't miss them at all. I just don't get what the fuss is about.

So Reddit, what is your unpopular Irish opinion? Don't hold back (but don't dare slander the glorious chicken fillet roll).

Does anyone know where this photo was taken?

The location looks really tranquil. I was thinking it could be cool to go there and maybe recreate the photo or even just listen to a few NewDad songs there. I hope that doesn't sound creepy, I've just been obsessed with this picture since I first saw it.

Where is the best spot to escape the heat?

Right lads never thought I'd say this but its too bloody warm. The usual 'ah sure it'll rain tomorrow' strategy is failing us.

Reddit where are you escaping to?

- Best spot for a cold dip?

- Coldest pint in town???

- Any pubs with a fan setup?

Also lads can we take off the jackets? I'm seeing too many ejits going around still wearing jackets in this weather.

Last point, everyone just make sure you're staying hydrated when you're enjoying the sun. We know it won't last forever so get out there and enjoy it, but christ it's hot.

Edit: Spelling

Came for Fedora hats, stayed for Linux

Who else stumbled across this sub looking for hat content only to find a new hobby?

Whats something about Galway you didn't appreciate until you left or moved away?

I recently moved back to Galway after being away for some time and it's made me think about the things that I didn't appreciate until after I had left for the first time.

For me it was driving to silver strand and spending the day flying my drone there capturing images and videos. Might seem kind of niche to some of you, but to me there's something special about it. I also loved walking down the long walk and taking in the atmosphere followed by a chicken fillet roll and maybe later a pint and a pack of Taytos

So Reddit, I'm putting the question to you: What's one Galway thing you'd miss if you moved away?

Have we lost our minds?

When did people become so naive. A lot of the content in this subreddit is screaming propaganda. Can we not recognize that there's a huge incentive for governments to frame chemtrails as some sort of satirical conspiracy.

Wake up.

Beyond the Pale Girl in the Crowd

Okay this is a long shot! So my friend said he was dancing at their Beyond The Pale show and spent the entire time dancing with a girl with blue hair. She had a cork accent and was roughly 5"2.

Reddit, can you help me reunite my friend and this girl?
