25M confused about relationships/marriage

Assalamualaikum everyone.

I'm 25M and I've never had a girlfriend. Sometimes when I see couples or people having bf/gf, I feel bad and start thinking maybe I should also have someone. Like someone to talk to, share things with, understand each other etc.

But then after some time I think maybe Allah is actually saving me from haram by not giving me a relationship. And then I feel okay with being single.

Then another thought comes that maybe I should just get married, but for that I feel I need to be financially stable first. I'm not in a position where I feel fully ready for marriage yet.

And then again I think, if I had a girlfriend atleast we could talk and know each other before marriage. But I know dating/relationship can easily cross boundaries and I don't want to get into something haram just because I’m feeling lonely.

Basically I keep going in this same loop 😅

One day I feel "I need someone", next day I feel "maybe being single is better for me", then I think about marriage, then money, then relationships again.

For brothers who were in a similar situation, what did you do? How did you deal with the loneliness and these thoughts?

Should I just focus on myself and wait until I'm financially ready for marriage, or should I actively start looking for marriage even if I'm not completely settled yet?

Would appreciate some honest advice...

Update: Finally tried the Bamboloni! 😂🍩

couple of days ago, I asked here where I could find Berliners in Warangal. Turns out, they weren't available, but Bamboloni were, so I decided to give them a try today!

Tried two flavours:

🍫 Nutella - 8/10

🍩 Dark Chocolate - 7/10

Personally, Nutella was the winner! 😋

Thanks to u/Wise_Wallaby_3346 for the Bamboloni suggestion and for recommending the choux bun at Conçu. Will definitely try that next time I visit Hyderabad! 😊

Warangal people, what else am I missing out on? 😂 Any good desserts, cafes or underrated food spots I should try next?

Drop your suggestions below! 👇

Warangal folks, howzz your Monday going? 🌧️🥶

weather has completely changed here 😭

Heavy rain, cold weather and honestly it feels like the perfect day to just stay indoors.

So what are you guys actually doing today?

Working from home?

Went to office?

Out with friends?

Just sitting at home scrolling Reddit? 😂

I feel like on days like this everyone has a different plan. Some people love going out in the rain, some won't step outside unless absolutely necessary, and some are just waiting for chai and hot snacks.

How's the weather in your area of Warangal? Is it raining heavily there too?

And what do you usually do when you get a day like this?

Movie + blanket?

Chai + pakodi?

Gaming?

Going out with friends?

Sleeping the whole day? 😂

Also, if you're from Warangal, what's something interesting happening around your area today?

Could be anything a good food spot, a nice place to hang out, something funny that happened, a local rant, or just a random thought.

Anyway, Monday is boring enough. Tell me what you guys are up to today 👇

25M | Looking for a Muslim Girl to Build Something Real ❤️

Hey!

25M, giving Reddit a chance because you never know where you'll find your person.

I'm hoping to meet a Muslim girl who's open to getting to know someone with the intention of marriage if things naturally click. I'm not here to rush into anything or play games—just looking for a genuine connection that could turn into something meaningful.

A little about me:

Working professional

Family-oriented and respectful

Ambitious, but I always make time for the people I care about

Enjoy good food, movies, and spontaneous conversations

Believe the best relationships start with friendship, laughter, and mutual respect

If you're around 22–25, and looking for something more than casual dating, I'd love to hear from you.

Who knows? Maybe this random Reddit post becomes our "How did you two meet?" story someday.

Feel free to DM me with a little about yourself. Looking forward to meeting someone genuine. 😊

Promotions Page Is Up - Who Got Promoted This Cycle?

The promotions page is finally live.

Curious to know how this cycle went across teams:

Did you get promoted? Congratulations! 🎉

Who did your PL end up promoting?

Were there any surprises in your team?

Did seniority, visibility, certifications, project performance, or networking seem to matter most this time?

Do you feel the promotions were fair?

Anyone still wondering why they were passed over despite strong feedback?

Let's keep it respectful and share experiences. It would be interesting to see what patterns people are noticing across different practices, levels, and locations.

How did this promotion cycle turn out for you?

12,000 Connections. 2,000 Followers. 3 Friends. And Somehow I Still Feel Alone.

Last night I opened LinkedIn and saw 12,000+ connections. Then Instagram 2,000 followers. And then I looked around my room in complete silence. No messages. No how are you really doing? No one to call without thinking twice. Just me.

It's funny how the internet can make someone look socially rich while emotionally bankrupt. Every time I post an achievement, people flood the comments with Proud of you bro 🔥, Keep winning 👏, Inspiring journey! But when life gets heavy, those notifications become useless decorations on a screen. Nobody actually shows up.

And what hurts the most is how difficult simple human connection has become. Sometimes I text guys just trying to make a genuine friend. Nothing weird. Nothing hidden. Just human connection. And the replies are always: Bro I’m straight or I'm looking for female friends. That sentence genuinely broke something inside me the first time I heard it.

Since when did friendship between men become something people have to defend? What happened to random late night talks, brotherhood, checking up on each other, laughing at stupid things, being there when life feels unbearable?

Now it feels like everyone only wants attention, validation, or someone attractive enough to post about. And with girls, it's difficult too. I understand why many are careful. The internet made desperation so common that genuine conversations from men are automatically seen as flirting or hidden intentions. So everyone becomes guarded.

Guys stop trusting guys. Girls stop trusting guys. And somehow all of us end up lonely together.

The scary part is… I don't even think people notice it anymore. We normalized isolation. We replaced friendship with followers, conversations with reactions, and presence with views.

I have 12,000 connections. But some nights, it feels like if I disappeared for a week, people would only notice because I stopped posting.

And honestly, I don't even want fame, attention, or sympathy anymore. I just miss the feeling of mattering to someone naturally. Not because of success. Not because of content. Not because of numbers. Just because I'm human.

I'm 25M and I've been feeling a bit off lately about a situation, not sure if I'm overthinking it.

So here's what happened:

My aunt has a maid who works at multiple homes. In one of those homes, there was a girl around my age whose family was urgently looking for a match. The maid mentioned this to my mom and suggested me as a potential match.

At that time, I wasn't ready for marriage, so I clearly said no and we didn't take it forward.

Later, the girl got engaged to someone else, but that engagement didn't work out and was called off.

A few months later, my cousin (32M) was also looking for matches. Through mutual connections, things worked out and now he’s married to the same girl.

Now I'm feeling a bit weird about the whole thing:

I don't know if the girl or her family ever knew I was once suggested

I don't know if my cousin knows about it or not

My cousin has become distant - he doesn't call or invite me like before

Even I feel awkward going over or talking like before

I'm not upset about the marriage - I had already said no. But there's this strange discomfort that I can't fully explain.

It feels like there's some unspoken tension, or maybe it's just in my head.

What would you do in this situation?

Act normal and ignore it?

Or keep some distance and let things settle?

Would appreciate honest advice.
