Runs 1.5x speed - already troubleshot a lot…help!

EB8800 movement. Ran 1.5x speed when I got it. Wanted to trouble shoot and fix.
Demagnetized it already.
Lost the jewel on the balance cock so got a full new balance and hair spring and pivot from another watch.
Pegged the jewel and other part the pivot staff goes into.
Oiled jewel.
Regulated, got beat error down to 0.5ms (though when I close it up, it somehow pops back up to like 20ms when I reopen it).
Regulated again.
And it’s still going 1.5x speed.

I keep moving the regulator arm further towards the stud and still just can’t get it happy.

Help!

Crown replacement - need a new stem/ extender too?

Trying to replace two crowns - one on a tap 9 stem and one on a tap 8. Seems like the tap 9 came with a 0.7mm stem extender and a way to attach to the current stem. Am I just supposed to attach that to the old stem? Ideally I wanted just a crown with a tap 9 and a tap 8 diameter thread. What’s available? What am I missing here?

Kobra X: Z axis homing failed and keeps pressing down

I've tried disassembling the print head, checking the wires, etc. After cleaning out a clog yesterday, now it just won't stop going down on the z axis and presses on the print bed. I've done a factory reset as well. Got an error 10120 when it pressed on the bed during setup. Still not working.

Anyone else experience this? Ideas on how to troubleshoot further?

What would you do? Vintage Endura skin diver

Picked this up for about $60 and it’s in rough shape. Significant beat error (like 10 ms), runs at like 1.5-2x normal, and the EB8800 movement isn’t the easiest for an amateur to regulate myself.

What would you do? Service it (guessing like $200 at least), buy a replacement movement and swap (and hope beat error and hairspring aren’t f’ed), try to service myself (and not excited to pull the wheel and spring)? Toss and find another watch?

All the sudden my Kobra X started scratching the build plate yesterday. Probably have printed 5 kg on it already with zero issues and then suddenly flipped out. Tried to turn off and back on to reset. Leveled multiple times. Changed the nozzle and made sure it was re-inserted. Just, nothing worked. Can’t even get it to work changing it in the slicer since it auto-adjusts height before printing. Ideas?
