Need help with cable configuration for Panasonic NV GX7

Looking for help please! I’m going to do a minDVR setup, as for me it’s just small and compact, and less mess and budget friendly.

But I’m trying to figure out wether I need to solder a custom cable, for it to with work the MiniDVR. I’ve seen these tapeless companies that sell tapeless and use TRS to TRRS cables. So could I not just buy one from online somewhere, But not sure if it’s going to work with my camcorder, and looking online the chart that people use, it doesn’t have a Panasonic pin output configuration.

So please if anyone could just help me get this set up, would be massively appreciated.

Looking for recommendations for a budget lens for my Canon AE-1 for wildlife

I am going to Vancouver island soon, and I’m doing a bear/wildlife tour, so I am looking for recommendations for a lens to take pictures of mainly bears. I dont usually shoot wildlife but just want to grab photos for the memories, was looking at the Canon FD 100mm - 300mm lens. We will be stood on viewing platforms looking out at areas that grizzly bears will eat etc, so would like to capture them in their environment.

What are peoples thoughts on this lens paired with a high ISO film stock?

Couple of shots of my favourite ride from my first ever big event. Was really grateful to shoot film at a local show & shine event, was a fun experience to be able to have creative freedom and do something I enjoy doing…taking photos!

Help with my setup

Please can someone help regarding setup for my Panasonic NV-GX7. I’m doing a budget build, so was going to buy the Minidvr and mount that on the hot shoe. Main help is with the cable, will I have to solder my own cable. Or can I just buy a TSSR or another cable just to keep the process simple?

Is there this typically a hot spot? Went early on today, and they had closed all the car parks and wouldn’t let people in. Even though there was numerous spaces available in the parking lot?
