Just got my MoYu RS3M V5 (Dual Adjustment). Where should I learn cubing from as a complete beginner?

Hey everyone,
I just got my MoYu RS3M V5 Dual Adjustment, and I’m excited to finally learn how to solve a cube properly.
I could never complete a full solve. I always got stuck on the third layer, so I never fully learned the beginner’s method.
Now that I have the RS3M V5, I want to learn the right way from the beginning. My goal is to first solve the cube consistently, and eventually get into speedcubing and improve my times.
Where do you recommend I learn from? Which YouTube channels, websites, or tutorials are the best for a complete beginner?
Also:
● Should I master the beginner’s method first before learning CFOP?
● Any tips or mistakes I should avoid while starting?
● Is there anything I should do to set up or adjust my RS3M V5 before I begin learning?
I’d appreciate any advice. Thanks!

Is the MoYu RS3M V5 Dual Magnetic worth buying in 2026?

Hey everyone,
I’m thinking of buying the MoYu RS3M V5 Dual Magnetic and wanted to know if it’s still one of the best budget 3x3 cubes in 2026.
I’m looking for:
Good corner cutting
Smooth and controllable feel
Strong magnet feel without being too aggressive
Something that will last for a long time
Would you recommend the RS3M V5 Dual Magnetic, or is there a better cube around the same price?
If you’ve owned or tried it, what did you like or dislike about it? Also, if you upgraded from the RS3M V5 Dual Magnetic to another cube, was the difference worth the extra money?
Thanks in advance!

IMU-CET Rank & PCM % needed for TMI (Tolani Maritime Institute) in 2027?

I'm preparing for IMU-CET 2027 and my goal is to get into Tolani Maritime Institute (TMI) for the B.Tech Marine Engineering / DNS program.

I wanted to ask seniors and recent aspirants:

What IMU-CET rank should I realistically target to get into TMI?

What PCM percentage is generally considered safe?

Is there any minimum PCM percentage that gives a better chance during admission?

How competitive has TMI become in the last couple of years?

If anyone got into TMI recently, could you please share your:

IMU-CET rank

PCM percentage

Category (General/OBC/SC/ST)

Whether you had company sponsorship or not

I'm trying to set a realistic target for my preparation, so any recent experiences or advice would be really helpful.

Thanks in advance!

Helppppp

Need some advice regarding an Airtel Wi-Fi connection process.

I received an official OTP SMS from Airtel for activation along with a Digital Application Form number and plan details. The connection is currently being registered as Postpaid (₹499 plan, 40 Mbps). The person handling the installation is asking for ₹1500 in advance before installation.

When I asked why it’s postpaid, he said it can be converted to prepaid after around 3 months.

Is this normal with Airtel broadband connections? Do they usually take advance payment before installation/activation, and is the “postpaid first then prepaid later” thing genuine or just a sales tactic?

Just want to know if anyone else had the same experience before I proceed.

Idkkk helpp

Getting an Airtel broadband/WiFi connection installed and the person handling it is asking me to pay ₹1500 before installation and activation even happens. Is this normal for Airtel?

Do they usually take payment beforehand, or should payment only happen after installation/activation is completed? Just trying to avoid getting scammed or paying some unofficial person.

I’m considering buying the Apple iPad (11th generation) (or any other tablet around ₹35k) and wanted proper advice because this will basically be my main device apart from my phone.

My main use cases are:

- watching lectures

- note-taking/studying for college

- multitasking

- gaming (mainly BGMI, CODM, and Minecraft)

Gaming performance matters a lot to me. I don’t just want “playable” performance — I want something that can maintain stable FPS without major frame drops or overheating during longer sessions. At the same time, I also want good note-taking experience, reliability, and long-term smoothness since I’ll be using it daily for studies too.

I’m open to both Android tablets and iPads, but I only want a brand new device, not refurbished/used.

So in the ₹35k range, what would actually be the best balanced option for:

- stable gaming performance

- multitasking

- note-taking

- long-term usage/software experience

Would the iPad 11th Gen be the best choice here, or are there better Android tablets in this price range for my needs?
