5th Fleeter gets his shit pushed in.

What a rude awakening here. Close to 2k hours across World, Rise, and Wilds. I walked in here with so much confidence only to get rocked in 2☆ LOW RANK. They give you 2 echo pods and 2 cool drinks at the start. Let me tell you friends... it was not enough. You know what else wasn't enough? The 2 grindstones.

I got Cephy boy down to his exhausted hurt state and literally just couldn't finish the quest. I was on red sharpness with no cool drinks. I couldnt damage it. Attacks just bounced. My health disappeared in the hot sun as my potions expired.

I now know I need to be PREPARED for each hunt. I cant just brute force it. I didnt even mention the weapon controls, but that has been making me feel like a toddler too. My inputs are awful.

I will keep at it. I love the scenery and the slower pace. Its charm is slowly winning me over.

Recent performance issues are driving me crazy. Is this a known thing??

I dont get it. Nothing has changed on my system. I've played rocket league for years. I have a 3090ti and get like 500 fps. It has historically run butter smooth.

In recent weeks it has been so hitchy, laggy? I dont know what to call it but it is fucking up my gameplay. It certainly is not stable. It also does this weird thing in the first match I play where it will freeze on and off about 7 to 9 times before it stops. Every single time.

What is this? Is this the result of them adding anitcheat? It truly is making me want to quit playing which would be a shame. I have thousands of hours here.

SnS advanced improvements

Im a competent player. I carry my weight. I typically will get around 55ish dps on Gog/ 10 star hunts.

BUT

Every so often I will hunt with another SnS who is getting upwards of 80 or even 100 dps. I would love to figure out how to close that gap. Doing another %40 more damage seems crazy.

If you are that player... what helped you make that jump?

Set my expectations

I've missed almost all Nintendo exclusives for the past decade. I bought a Switch 2 and I have been revisiting some gems I missed. I'm almost done with Fire Emblem Three Houses and I think Xenoblade is my next big jrpg adventure!

I want to know what to expect here. What makes this one special? Im familiar with FF, DQ, Persona, some Trails, and all kinds of other jrpgs. Im excited to dive into this one I hear so many things about!

Fire Emblem Three Houses but... Mech!

Does such a game exist? I have just gotten into Fire Emblem and I'm loving what Three Houses is doing. The character relationship stuff, deep customization, training, and then of course the tactics combat. I couldn't help but think how cool something like this would be as a mecha game! I'm imaging a space colony ship with mech cadets or even something more grounded. Does such a thing exist?

I play on PC and Switch 2. No Playstation sadly.
