Floor tech frustrations
Been at my current company for almost 2 years and there's never been a tougher time than now...needing to vent
Last month has been rough. Literally running into the ground. We have nowhere near the team we need for the amount of floor we have nor do we have the machines. It's a strip and wax damn near daily the last two weeks. Management just says "work has to be done".... mission impossible.
Machines get moved around, broken, and some dont even work. Leadership doesn't assess the floors to figure out what can be done to help keep them maintained. Chairs and tables scratch the floors up too and we have to strip them like every month...its ridiculous. We have one walk behind scrubber and one buffer for almost 3 miles of floor lol

Get quality sleep, and not just sleep
Last month I"ve realized just how important quality of sleep is. My quality 5 hrs of sleep beat out my 8 hrs of bad quality every time. I've even had quality naps that beat full 8 hrs.
Soft bed, fan going, cool and dark room (maybe some low lighting), even some soft music...damn 🥱😴

Shining Star (beat edit)
Been doing revisions on this beat. Took another approach and made a key change (especially for my voice since it was too high). I sampled my own voice saying "star" and used AI to get a female vocal. Im gonna lay hooks and verse later. Lmk how this samp sounds

Got a verse on it here are the overall lyrics. Took a while to get a verse to match energy in and flow in back into the hook. It'll need a mix down, but I want to see what people think of the verse first before continuing

Been writing this verse for like 3+ weeks now. Suffered a big writers block. Let me know if it's any good. I'm wanting to sing it in my higher voice and don't want to change the key as it'll mess with the production and set me back. I can do a cleaner take on it, voice was a little scratchy this morning singing high; some notes asre flat and some lyrics are fixed. I'd imagine doing it live in a half step or whole step down. The bridge really just follows the guitar solos melody
