Other people likely already noticed after nearly two years since the game's launch, but I just realized that they gave Bowser Jr. his own unique jump sound in this game. I know he has something similar in the Galaxy titles when he bounces around, but that is a little touch I did not expect to carry over into spinoffs like this, especially since you likely wouldn't hear it in regular play with the music, voices and all the sound effects. That's kinda neat.

Don't give me a Blue Coin for saving your life, get sent back to the shadow realm.

At this point, I cannot even be mad when people do this. The pure entitlement of these Nintendo YouTubers begging for the inevitable... I have zero sympathy for them.

Side note... Yes, I know Landon is back to his usual grifting ways to hyping himself up about bing bing wahoo man to a ludicrous degree. No, I'm not going to talk about it because I do not want to anymore.

Either Nin10doland doesn't proofread his own scripts or he is a larper in disguise, I am convinced at this point.

It may have taken way longer than I'd like to admit, but I finally beat the first game. Not to 100% completion, but I did do a good amount of sidequests and a little bit of colony reconstruction (mainly just to get the Mobile Furnace).

I still stand by my personal stance of the game being overhyped by some members of the community as 'the greatest thing ever made' to an obnoxious degree (*cough* Chuggaaconroy *cough*), but it is still a really good game that I can see why it became one of Nintendo's more popular IPs in recent memory. The characters are well written and charming (Melia is my personal favorite). The story, although a bit repetitive with pulling the rug out from under us just one too many times, was really good and entertaining once things got going. And the music, even if I heard some of these songs in Smash 4 first way back in the day, is still great with mainly battle themes and some area themes. The combat took a long time for me to get use to and it is pretty simple once you know what to do, but it is still satisfying and even gratifying to hit those huge numbers during a Chain Attack. Also, shoutout to the Switch 2 Edition for fixing one of my biggest issues with the game by adding faster travel on foot with the Ether Jet. That alone improved my overall experience and was worth the $10 upgrade.

It was a very slow burn for me considering how long it took me to get invested within the first half, but I still really enjoyed the game and get some of the hype around it. Probably not in my personal top five favorite games ever, but probably within the top ten. But I'm nowhere near done with this franchise as I've got Future Connected next and then all of the other games in the series, alongside their DLC and Switch 2 Editions. So my Xenoblade has basically only just begun.

So the High Entia CAN fly with their wings! Considering we only ever see them flying on Havres, I just figured the wings were left over from the Telethia gene and didn't have flight capabilities. Cool to see they actually can, but shame this is the only time we ever see this happen in game. (If future games in the series do have them fly, please refrain from spoiling those as I'm waiting for the Switch 2 upgrades before I start them.)

But at the same time, this makes me beg the question of why can't Melia use her wings to fly? My only guess is because her wings are too small?

Also... Yes, I know the joke I made in editing was obvious, but I just had to get it out of my system, lol.

Was playing a casual match on Deep Bloober Sea when we got to the worst minigame in MP3. We both agreed to just mash A and get it over with quickly since we both hate this one... Needless to say I am never suggesting that idea ever again.

But... What more do you want me to even add about Nin10doland at this rate? He's just back on the grifting slop grind of hating JRPGs, greedily only wanting the stupid plumber not realizing the reality of it is simply not ready to be shown yet, refusing to listen to criticism and trying to gaslight his very impressionable audience into thinking the same way... I just feel like everything that can be said about the guy has been repeated at nauseum and it's clear he's never going to learn. If anyone else wants to take the mantle of openly mocking him, feel free to. I just feel like I can't add anything new anymore in regards to this sloptuber.

Also, I don't fucking believe him when he says he does not want Directs anymore.

Side tangent, but Reyn feels the worst to control on the Ether Jet, imo. No acceleration with low handling just feels like such a slog.

So I'm really enjoying the Switch 2 Edition for Xenoblade 1. I think it is one of the better Switch 2 Editions Nintendo has put out so far, but I noticed one issue that does kinda bug me. The game lags hard at the start of a Battle Race in Midnight Forest. I'm guessing it's because that area of Makna Forest has so much rendering at once that even the Switch 2 can't handle it all? One I get past that starting portion, the lag clears up, but it feels weird to see something so jarring when the game is otherwise so polished everywhere else.

Note that I was playing in Handheld Mode during the time, so idk if that played a factor or not. But I feel like if it lagged in Handheld Mode, it'll likely lag when docked there.

You know, I feared that the 'variable pricing' was gonna lead to them increasing the prices even more, but it seems like my fears were justified. This was the sole reason I even bought my Switch 2 and I thought it'd reasonably be $70 physical, so seeing it be $80... I'm sorry, I just cannot justify this. They really learned nothing from Mario Kart World bring $80. Thank you for destroying all hype behind this game in two seconds, Nintendo.

During the "8 Player Top Ride" event, I somehow managed to pull this off. Could not replicate that again if I tried, that's just funny.

So I recently started my revisit of Scarlet after having bought my Switch 2 back in December because I am curious to see how smooth the game performs with the free upgrade. I wanted to raise a Marill with Aqua Jet (Azumarill is my favorite Pokemon of all time), so I would need to breed for it. After getting a male Buizel with Aqua Jet and a female Marill in a Dive Ball, I go find a spot to set the picnic up and... the table does not spawn. I see the puff of smoke indicating that it should be spawning, but it's not there.

I have never had this happen to me back in my original playthrough on Switch 1, so I'm very confused if something about the Switch 2 upgrade is breaking picnics in this game. I've tried other locations in Paldea, but this issue frustratingly persists. If anyone has any information related to this, please clarify for me because I am confused.

Things were going pretty rough for me the night this happened as I was just getting curbstomped in previous matches. So I think the game decided to finally throw me a bone and let me take out my anger on the other players (even if most of them were bots, lol).

While you could argue his other videos are harmless despite him being obnoxious, you can't exactly make that excuse for this one. Just the thumbnail alone is enough to piss me off. Threats like this are not a joking matter and should be treated completely seriously. But of course he is so Mario pilled that he does not treat this subject with the seriousness it deserves. Yes, we should talk about this because it is very fucked up that people think this is okay, but Landon clearly only sees this as 'more content' for his dying YouTube channel. Granted, he did change the thumbnail, but he ignored half of the problem by keeping that goofy ass Mario render in there. He can't even course correct correctly, that's how bad he is!

Dude is also extremely bitter throughout the actual video, taking cheap shots at people calling him out while mentioning his 3D Mario obsession like every 30 seconds, even making a 'joke' about the bomb threat being 'justified' if he does not get 3D Mario this year. No, I am NOT kidding. THIS IS NOT AN APPROPRIATE TIME FOR THOSE TYPES OF COMMENTS, LANDON! The fact you are so terminally online that you would spend a good chunk of the video being bitter about the people calling you out rather than talking about this actual issue with the seriousness it deserves... And the lighthearted music in the background playing the entire time is very unfitting given the video subject. I thought I had seen the worst of your content before, but this is beyond the pail!
