ARC Raiders anti cheat is receiving a major update with the Frozen Trail update

Any account caught cheating is now permanently banned

Other major changes happening for anti cheat:

• Cheat detection improves each month, using a mix of Embark’s own anticheat combined with Denuvo and Anybrain

• A banned game copy cannot be reused on a new account

• Any account ever tied to a banned copy also gets banned (Game sharing via family)

• Hardware bans hit more machines, and Embark plans to cover almost all cheat systems later this year

• Queue teaming (friends forcing the same solo lobby) is being blocked in matchmaking

Bans sometimes can take time because Embark waits until they are sure

Embark also says cheating will always be an ongoing fight and will never fully disappear, but they are working to make it harder, costlier, and shorter lived for cheaters so players can enjoy a better experience.
