Choc' Brownie Cookies stuffed with Marshmallow Fluff

So I have this bad habit of scrolling through this sub and saving/screenshotting recipes that not only sound amazing but look amazing too! I find it the most reliable way to find unbeatable recipes😊

This one has been sat in my screenshots for 5 months and thought I'd give it a go!

The original recipe was posted here; https://www.reddit.com/r/Baking/s/FwNrcvFNKv

I made a few minor changes; -Only had 65g of dark chocolate so I subbed with milk chocolate for the rest. -Increased cocoa powder to 50g to give a deeper flavour due to the lack of dark chocolate. -I bloomed the cocoa with the butter as opposed to mixing it in with the dry ingredients. -Added a little more sea salt. -Added a splash of vanilla essence

And of course, TRIED to stuff with marshmallow fluff. (See fail pic)🙈😂

These are simply divine as they are and the first two I made were almost perfect . After that I decided to experiment with marshmallow fluff 🙈

The ones I made with the marshmallow fluff were absolutely a level above and it gives them a lovely, creamy vanilla hit.🤤

I'd recommend not allowing the mixture to cool or firm up too much or you start to lose the shine and cracked look. I also noticed the fluff leaks out more. I'd also suggest doing smaller scoops as I tried a double scoop and the fluff took over. I may or may not have got ambitious with the filling 😇(I point you to fail pic again😂)

First pic is the unstuffed originals.

Open to any questions or tips.

Comfort fabric softener

I never used to bother with these previously but decided to go all out 😂

My issue is it states 48 washes and after about 5-6 washes almost a third of it is gone already.

My question - does anyone have recommendations for fabric softener or scent boosters? Preferably one that lasts, doesn't need much added to the wash and is of course - cost effective.

Do Hevy run lifetime sub offers or discounts?

So I've been a subscriber for just over a year (freezing then yearly subscription) and I notice there's sometimes a discount for yearly subscriptions. Has anyone ever seen similar for their lifetime?

Anyone know where they've gone?

Now I know they moved the "gain bars" to the checkout. Then these particular ones got moved beside the cosmetics with other protein products along with a rebrand but now they've disappeared from the protein area. Anyone able to tell me where they are now? 🤣

Do they still stock this? UK

SALTED CARAMEL - Felt I add to edit this in as the anti-protein brigade telling people to read labels, can't read labels 🤭

Just wondering if anyone in the UK has seen this recently? Really like the stuff, goes with a lot of things and tastes real nice but my local stores haven't had it in months.

Another whine about the loyalty

Does anyone else feel like Lidl are clutching at straws with rubbish like this? The coupons for me are even worse than before but this "spend X to get some extra points" is a steaming pile IMO.

I imagine they're hoping to draw enough people in with these sort of "challenges" and then pull the rug once they have nabbed a few fickle folk.

Really disappointing but not surprising in this economic climate where everything is less (bar the quality, quantity and price!)

Is there anything I can do to avoid getting coded into emergency tax?

Emergency tax code/employment advice

Just looking for a bit of advice or pointers here. Not sure if it's financial or employment - a bit of both.

I've been stuck in 2 different tax codes which have both been wiping out my personal allowance and taxing my entire income due to a cockup between an agency and a business.

I was working via an agency then left and joined the company I was working at (through the agency). It wasn't a simple transfer (that has happened countless times for other colleagues) and they made me leave the agency to then join the company.

The company messed up the contract by having it start a week AFTER the training started and left the agency to pay me for the first week of training I would have otherwise been down as "unemployed". I've been getting hammered with emergency tax since then (3+ months and counting) despite telling HMRC I only have 1 employer now and giving them figures from my payslip.

I also missed my first pay due to the company not uploading my details in time (have now been paid for this).

Now the agency are issuing us a bonus for last year but are saying the only way for us to get it is to have us back on the payroll again, which will trigger as a 2nd employer and therefore pushing me onto the emergency tax code again.

Is there anything I can do in this situation? Being hammered for months on emergency tax is really crippling me financially and the fact it's through the agency and business cocking up my onboarding is even more frustrating.

Seen it's on the 20th June, does anyone know much about it? Recommend it? Going to it? Just curious as a few friends and I are in Amsterdam that weekend and are looking for some good tunes 😊
