Looking for feedback on my pixelated StepMania clone

Hey there! Retora here! 19-yo Pixel Artist and Indie Game Developer.

I made a pocket rhythm game that plays StepMania charts on web, Windows, and Android.

It's pixel art, works with keyboard/gamepad/touch, and has local 2-player split-screen.

Need help. JSR for Windows not running.

I installed the game yesterday and it worked perfectly. I closed it, shut down my PC, and now when I try to open it again, the title screen appears, but as soon as I "Press Start," my PC freezes. After a few seconds, the game closes and an error window pops up, but it disappears too fast for me to read it. I’ve already tried reinstalling the game in a different folder, but I’m still having the same issue.

Looking for players to debug my indie game

Hey everyone!

I've been working on PadManiacs, an open source StepMania clone with pixel art graphics.

Just added experimental local multiplayer! Two players can play the same chart side by side on one screen. Each player has their own score, combo, and health bar. Works with keyboard (customizable bindings) or two gamepads.

I've already tested the keyboard multiplayer, but I don't have any controllers so I haven't been able to test that feature.

It would help me a lot if any of you could test the multiplayer with two controllers and tell me if it works.

Other features:

- Load your own .sm song packs

- Built-in chart editor

- Character system with levels and skills

- Add-on/mod support

- Full mobile support
