how to stop crotch numbness when sitting with pants/shorts?

i'm in a Situation right now i swear. every time i sit while wearing pants (in my wheelchair or otherwise) i notice my crotch gets extremely numb and tingly and painful. i do not think this is an issue of my chair or cushion because it happens whenever i sit anywhere while wearing pants. unfortunately i cannot just be pantsless because it is socially unacceptable. i have even tried adaptive pants and i still have this problem. i think it might have something to do with the way most pants have a crotch seam in the gusset area, but even when i seam ripped the crotch of a pair of pants and added in a wide gusset i still had the issue. doesn't matter the material or style of pants. i always have this issue. has anyone else experienced this? is there anything i can do?

i am unfortunately cursed with... generous skin down there, so to speak, and i think this might be the main cause? i've talked to my ATP about it too and genuinely that's the only thing we could come up with since my issue seems to be present regardless of other clothing related factors. all i can say is that it only doesn't happen when i sit nude or only in underwear. i do have to get wide gusset underwear for similar reasons. but i genuinely don't know what i can do about it. i know there are surgeries to reduce excess skin down there but it's considered plastic surgery as far as i know and i cannot afford that lol. i wish insurance would pay but i don't know if "my meat curtains hurt really bad and go numb when i sit" would be considered an actual medical reason 😭 genuinely help me because i don't know what to do 😭 thanks

how long after sofdra before applying antiperspirant?

i use a half pump of sofdra nightly for generalized HH (but mostly axillary). i usually apply secret clinical every morning and night, but i'm wondering how long i should wait between sofdra and the antiperspirant. i usually only wait 5 minutes but i feel like i'm still super sweaty at night that way. is the antiperspirant maybe wiping away the sofdra? should i wait longer or decrease to once a day?

Random Pixel phone keeps connecting to our wifi, even after password and name changes

I've asked all my friends and no one knows where this phone is coming from! It's freaking me out. None of us own a Pixel phone at all. I've changed the password to one that's increasingly complex twice now and the wifi name as well. It was actively connected again this morning after changing the password. I paused it for now but is there any way to get rid of this for good assuming it's a random person who somehow has access to our network? Thanks.

insane markups on uber XL

i use a wheelchair that i can load independently into the trunk of a car. however, i always order uber XL for the space. my chair does break down enough to fit in a sedan but it takes time and i don't want to subject a driver to that 😭 i frequently get insane fucking upcharges for XL rides. it's very frustrating, especially when the ride isn't actually any slower like shown above, and i doubt the actual drivers are getting that money which pisses me off even more.

is this really normal for XL? this was literally a 3 mile ride... idk. i've taken hour long normal ubers that cost less. it's so annoying. i am very grateful for the drivers because uber does grant me significant independence in an area with no public transit and being unable to drive, but man, it just feels like a rip off sometimes.

Posted yesterday looking for brown mascara for my naturally very long lashes. Proud to report I found one that works!

this is the revlon full time volumizing mascara in shade 403 natural brown! i also took some reccomendations for how to apply the mascara and to curl my lashes with a lash curler and wow! i think it worked great, the color is not too dark as to be jarring, and it passes the test with my super thick glasses. thank you to everyone who commented on my last post, it was all super helpful advice and i wish i could have tried all the products but i decided to start with this one as it was relatively inexpensive. it does lengthen very slightly but all mascara does so, y'know. i expected that.

i really appreciate the support of this community in helping me find a good product! y'all are so kind.

Breakout after hysterectomy with BSO (FTM on Testosterone)

Hello,
I'm one week post op total robotic hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy (hopefully I spelled that right!) with endometriosis excision as well. Everything is going honestly relatively well other than the fact that I'm experiencing the WORST acne breakout in years. I genuinely don't think I've had acne this bad since when I first started puberty at 9-10 years old. It's so awful. And with the fact that I've been on testosterone for almost 5 years, I've experienced some gnarly acne, but genuinely never this bad. Plus I'm getting so many ingrown hairs as well. My skin is still as dry as ever, but I'm sweating a lot more (which I attribute to the surgical menopause). I do not take any estrogen or progesterone as my doctor said I only need to if I'm having bone density issues (I regularly have scans for this due to a lot of other health problems) since I am on testosterone and your body converts excess T into estrogen and progesterone as needed. I'm basically hormonally male.

So I assume that hormones have something (or everything) to do with the acne. But genuinely it's really bothering me, not from a cosmetic standpoint, it's super uncomfortable and itchy. I do wash my face, exfoliate occasionally, use benzoyl peroxide, moisturize, etc. But I can't curb it. I'm looking for suggestions that don't involve accutane because it made me want to die when I was on it many years ago. I have a dermatologist so prescriptions aren't out of the question but I'm looking to try at home stuff first. I have used topical tretinoin from the derm in the past but 1. I sunburn easily as is and it's going to be summer soon and 2. My skin is already SUPER dry. So it worked for the acne but made me eternally red. Sigh.

Please advise lol

places to sell lightly used equipment?

hello wheelie gang, i have a set of spare wheels (spinergy spox) that i'm no longer in need of because it turns out i need larger diameter wheels! whoops. i was wondering if anyone knows of the best places i could sell them for a little bit of cash. not anywhere close to retail, i know it's hard out here and honestly if i was in a better financial situation i would donate them but alas, i am not. i have tried to list on marketplace but no luck there. the wheels are from january of this year so less than 6 months old. i just don't want them to go to waste. thanks!
