This was awful on 25, a lot better in season 1 of 26 but crept back in through updates. All my bigs have 85 to 99 block and gold to legend pogo but all get hit with this terrible stun animation after attempting block in the paint. The attackers animation only lasts have the time so they get a free refund. I know 2K hates defense but as a big, this is infuriating to happen so often.
I skipped UFC 5 and just tried Online Career in 6. It looks like everyone starts with 2 stars in every attribute and you have 100 points to boost a couple. I love the idea of this and steadily building up a fighter but the first guy i faced seemed faster and more powerful. Was just wondering if I'm missing something with online career?
I barely played 4 and skipped 5, I really want to get back into but I'm fairly shite. Didn't win a single fight in the beta. Have the EA Play trial and trying to decide if I'll buy it on Friday.
I'm most interested in career and online career, trying to make a LW with decent stand-up, but dangerous subs if someone does take me down.
From the archetypes available, what sounds like the best for me? Kickboxer and i use points to increase BJJ or the other way around maybe? I love bjj so want some from of that to keep me interested.

My only regret is not playing this sooner!! Straight into a new playthrough on easy to try unlock everything i missed on first playthrough. Also will chuffed finishing the scientist story and getting a glimpse of the dlc 😊
I want to buy The Alters, currently €19 on PSN sale for next 2 days. The deluxe upgrade is also on sale for €8. I know this will be a biased place and no one can tell me of the dlc would be worth it or not or if I'm even like the base game but i imagine €27 is a good price for base game and dlc seeing as the base game usually costs 35 and the deluxe edition is 15? Also, the last game i got went to ps plus the best month so I'm weary of that as well 😂

I usually only make bigs but wanted to try a PG Jason Williams build like Devkon's recent one but trying to find a build that gets good cap value. I can get an excellent cap value on my bigs but not sure about the guards if anyone has a good one?
My favourite part of MMA is BJJ. Can't beat a good roll with someone that flows from position to position and into sub. Ea UFC ground game is the opposite of that. It's so clanky and robotic, doesn't flow and just not fun when it hits the mat. As someone who loves the ground game in real life, it says a lot when i dread the game goes to the mat in this.
I'm EA MMA, the ground game was way more flowly, felt like an mma fight but in EA UFC, it feels like 2 separate games between stand-up and ground. People are either going to be stand-up or purely grapplers in this game when real life, the majority of fighters are very good at both.
