This is Sumika, before the events of Project Phantasma. The GP-AC pictured is an Ariake like her Coral Star, and all… like, 3 of the human depictions of her I’ve seen show her with a similar hairstyle. Probably her natural hair colour too, since she’s Dutch. (or was it Finnish?)

Given her name and AC it’s safe to assume she was a Murakumo operative, and all of these factors have led to me creating pointless speculation about a 30-year-old game.

What do you think? is this Sumika before her capture by the Wednesday Organization? Or is it just another classic Kawamori babe?

Using a NTSC-J Slim PS2 90000. The first time I opened the menu, I went into OPL rather than uLaunchELF, and now the menu won’t open again. What do I do? Do I need a new card? do I need to delete the OPL save data? I really need a hand.

I made a post about my recreation of Nothung in AC6 just the other week, and now that I’ve learned the dark art of… screenshotting my 3ds, I figured I’d display him in all his glory! Also featuring Geist IX, my newest original AC, and one I’m super proud of!
I’m really proud of both of their colours, but for some reason the bronze colour on Nothung looks more like shit-brown in the screenshots, alas. Geist IX’s green-tinged steel, silver and blue paint job is one of my faves :)

Hands-down my favourite AC apart from Anfang and the AC1 version of Nine-Ball. Everything about its design oozes cool to me, especially the b-club resin kits that I would kill to own. It’s the perfect mirror to Anfang, with its mono-eye design and standard layout. Plus, it just screams Shoji Kawamori, especially that barely disguised VF-1A head. The VF-1A also happens to be my favourite, so it’s no surprise that this beauty speaks to me in the way it does.

Weapons loadout works really well too, so much so that I cannibalised it for my own AC, Nothung. Shame they don’t make energy machine-guns anymore, the MG500/E from Master of Arena is a fantastic weapon.

But yeah, I wish this AC got more recognition than just being “the other one from AC1’s intro who gets mogged by Anfang.“ I feel like someone (not me, I can’t do creative writing) could potentially make a really good fanfic or something with these two, maybe explore the dynamics between Ravens, and whether they might hold grudges or not, since they’re just doing their jobs.

TLDR, the Red Sun is a top bit of kit, and more people should love it :)

A cross-generation AC who I shall attempt to make in every AC game! I first made him in Master of Arena, where he used the energy MG500 and a laser cannon, but in AC6 laser weapons work differently, and the back-mounted laser cannons aren’t super good, so here we are. Third image is the share code :)
