Friend pointed out the similarities when I was teaching them Lancer

Obviously not 1:1 but

A turn based strategy game where you can easily chunk your opponents, but they can hurt you back just as easily and while tanks are a thing, it's better to just not get hit so you take or create cover, or, alpha strike your enemies with burst or CC so as to stop them fighting back.

Yes there's a lot more nuance but it is amusing how similar they both can be

Rules Question: Hobgrots Minecraft Speedrun

So I'm excited to get into HoH, but seeing how there's only one unit of Hobgrots, I was curious to see their purpose, and noticed their ability allows them to basically deploy further in,

I thought of a basic combo and need to know if this is viable,

I deploy them as close to a distant terrain/objective as possible, then, during deployment, I activate Disposable lackeys to get an extra 5 inches of deployment range to them, and have them jump on-top of said terrain/objective, can I then use Leave in Ruin to mark that piece? Then reap the Daemon power at the start of my true turn?

Super unlikely but, imagine if Owlcat made something based on the Starship Troopers TTRPG

The franchise low-key has been making a return with the RTS and FPS games, and figured why not make it a trifecta with a CRPG.

The games got loads of side classes and subclasses and stuff and the book uses a mix of original novel, film and animated series/movies (they got cyberdogs! [Which in the novel can actually speak English. Sort of... It's really weird...])

But what do you guys think?

What's a piece of media that you dread a GM using as inspiration?

Any kind of dread, be it, "oh god we're going to perish like dogs", or, "oh no this is going to be uncomfortable" or even "oh no this is going to be uncomfortable"

Been enjoying both franchises lately, and was thinking, what mech (please minimise the EVEREST PEAK) would each Primarchs use?
