Mumbai to Europe Saver Award 1 year in advance

Checking everyday at 3am Doha time, for the last available date. Everyday exactly at 3am the day opens up but literally at 3:00:00 I see directly the flexi rate. For anywhere in Europe (Zurich, Paris, Rome etc).

Is there any strategy to book saver rates? Because not sure if Saver rates are even released 362/3 days in advanced. Checking everyday for last 2 weeks for the last available date in May 2027.

Switzerland + Italy Itinerary 2.5 weeks suggestions

We are a couple late 20s. Will be visiting Switzerland around 8 days (full) for next year summer. Got another 9 days for Italy (probably that includes 1 day of Bernina Express from Zermatt to Italy). (This will not be my only trip to Italy, will visit in future again, so yes I dont need to cover everything)

But for this trip - Whats the best train travel route to end in Rome. Would be it best do Zermatt to Lake Como a long train journey. 3 days Lake Como. Train to Florence (2 days) then 3 full days in Rome.

I don't want to do excessive touristy stuff (like Venice). Is florence extremely touristy? Is lake como worth or lake garda? (Considering train travel?)

Should I do Florence or Cinque Terrace? Are there any other cities do you recommended visiting if I were to switch Lake Como and Florence?

My future trip to Italy would probably be combined with French Riviera, so that would include Amalfi for sure.

Thanks all!!!

We are a couple late 20s wanting to head to SF from Monterey (we would not be driving). Is it cost effective to take Uber? A prebook uber is shows me $170-180 (sometimes $140) . Monterey bus to SFO is $55/person. That will come to $110 + transport to Union. So almost $150 or so.

I believe Uber would make sense that way, but if I prebook do drivers usually cancel or no? If someone cancels at last minute it would leave me with no option.

What do you guys suggest?
