Considering switching but I have a question regarding FBA policy

I'm taking over my dad's camera business and I'm considering switching some of our orders from FBM to FBA.

I understand that with FBA, Amazon handles returns and refunds. But I'm wondering about a specific situation: If an FBA buyer doesn't initiate a return or refund request, but instead privately messages me through Amazon and gave a legitimate reason why they can't return the item and asks if can simply refund them, can as the seller, issue that refund myself?

For eg. I had a situation where a buyer stated their account had an issue (don't wanna say it Incase it's against rules) and asked if I can issue their refund. They provided evidence and was able to. (They are a usual buyer)

I'm not talking about Amazon automatically processing a return, or the buyer opening a refund request.

I mean a voluntary/Goodwill refund that choose to give the buyer.

With FBM, I can obviously make that decision myself.

I'm getting conflicting answers from Amazon Seller Support about whether can do the same with FBA. Has anyone actually dealt with this situation on FBA and can confirm whether the seller can independently issue the refund?

Also what subscription would you recommend ? The business makes £5,000 ish profit per month

How do people officially prove their religion when a foreign authority requires it?

question I'm curious about.

Different countries seem to handle religion very differently. Some record it in official records, while others don't put it on passports or birth certificates at all.

For example, I know countries such as India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Israel and Lebanon have various official systems where religious affiliation can appear in government records or affect certain legal processes. Other countries like the UK, USA and Trinidad & Tobago generally don't put religion on standard identity documents.

For example, I know countries such as India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Israel and Lebanon have various official systems where religious affiliation can appear in government records or affect certain legal processes. And in a few places, governments or courts in countries like Saudi Arabia, Iran, and sometimes Egypt or Jordan may even require some form of proof or declaration of religion for specific legal matters (like marriage, inheritance, or personal status issues), which makes this question even more interesting. Other countries like the UK, USA and Trinidad & Tobago generally don't put religion on standard identity documents.

But what happens when a foreign government actually requires proof of someone's religion?

Is there usually a government-issued certificate, civil record, or database entry? Or would you need an attestation from a recognized mosque, church, temple, synagogue, etc in Trinidad?

Has anyone from Trinidad and Tobago ever had to prove their religion to a foreign government? What documentation did they accept?

Amazon abusing Prime Members

I'm genuinely tired of them.

I originally ordered and it stated to be delivered July 15th before it was updated to September 7th. I reached out to CS and I'm like it's food items to which they said it was lost in transit and because I'm a "good customer" he will fast track it to be replaced and released and it will be delivered within a week.

Never happened, Amazon must have "professional bs talker" as one of their requirements for the job.

I cancelled the order and reordered it , and yet again the time frame is August 10th to September.. what the heck is going on with Amazon ????

And the delivery destination isn't like a place behind god's back in america, it's literally Miami
