F1 stats app (Race Pace)

So I was getting really sick of the normal F1 app, it was quite confusing to use there was a lot going on so I made my own F1 stat app so you can see the current standings, calendar, results. There’s also a pro feature where you can get the live data for a race. You can also see like pitstops, race radios and race control data.

I kept forgetting what I wanted for my birthday so I made a wishlist app

Every year someone asks what I want for my birthday or Christmas and my mind just goes blank, then I end up with socks. And all year I see stuff I actually want and forget about it by the time it matters.

So I made Pica. It's a wishlist app for iOS.

The main thing is you can share to it from any app or browser, or just paste a link, and it grabs the title, image, shop and price for you. I wanted adding something to take about 2 seconds, otherwise you just don't bother doing it.

Then you share the list with friends and family and they can reserve items. Reservations are hidden from you so you still get surprised, but everyone else can see what's taken so you don't end up with 3 of the same thing. That was genuinely the problem in my family group chat every December!

Other stuff that's in there:

  • lists for birthdays, Christmas, weddings, new home, babies etc. with a countdown if you want one
  • a "gifts I'm giving" screen so you can keep track of everything you've reserved across everyone's lists
  • multi currency, converts totals using real exchange rates
  • comments on lists that the owner never sees, for the "should we go in together on this" chat

It's free. There's a premium tier for unlimited lists, photo covers and seeing who reserved what, but the normal stuff works without paying.

Would really appreciate any feedback, especially on the onboarding as I've looked at it so long I can't tell what's confusing anymore. Also if you find a shop whose links don't get picked up properly let me know and I'll fix it.
