An old watch in my parent’s garden.

So, while gardening, my father found this watch in their garden.

What i know:

- it’s written "s.g.d.g" wich mean "sans garantie du gouvernement" it’s a legal mention about patents in france which ceased after 1968.

- the cracked glass seem to be plexiglass (so i guess it is not an really high end watch.

- it didn’t rust so i guess it is at least gold plated.

- the house was build in 1886 and was in the same aristocratic family until my parents bought it in 2022.

I'm thinking of a lip?

We might try to clean it with ultrasounds.

Obviously, it is not possible to repair it. I don’t think it is worth much, i am just curious.

SL8 comp vs Pinarello F3

Hey everyone!

I'm currently looking for a new bike after my 2017 Teammachine slr 01.

I've been looking around and I love the design of the pinarello F3 but on the other hand, the SL8 COMP seem to be a better pick on specs. I can have both for almost the same price.

I ride on group and alone on a mostly flat area of france but with some hills (average is like 700m D+ for a 100km ride).

It’s hard to find reviews online of the F3 yet. I heard it’s a bit heavy and your paying for the brand but is it really?

Do anyone have an experience to share?

Thanks !

Choix boyaux SLR01/BORA ULTRAS

Salut!

J’ai récemment acheté des roues campagnolo bora ultra two.

What is up with strava routes?

I was using it a lot before, it was good! But since a few weeks it’s getting worse and worse. This morning i planned on riding a 100km, i don’t usually have time for that, i got up early, used the strava route generator and left. I ended up having to walk because I kept running in dirt tracks (i had asphalt and road cycling checked). I tried generating another route but I could go under 10% dirt tracks.

Is there a way to actually get some help?

Hello everyone,

I am running in circles with TR customer service and I'm at my breaking point. I have tried explaining a serious issue (tradia being wrong on the sell confirmation panel about the selling price) several times, providing precise details.

but I get the exact same automated copy-paste response every single time. The replies are completely wrong and blatantly ignore the specific details I provided.

Calling them hasn't helped either. The phone agents say they can't do anything and promise that an "expert" will take a look at the case. Said expert (which is probably still ai) always reply the same wrong answer.

I am beyond exasperated. Has anyone managed to break out of this automated loop and actually get a serious issue resolved? Any advice would be highly appreciated.
