Quick hear me out: I’ve been coloring my hair for 25 years and I’ve had every color possible except black. Like pretty much any color you can think, I’ve done. For the last few years, I’ve just been bleaching it to be blonde but it’s getting old. I don’t want to mess with fantasy colors anymore. I was also thinking of a root melt/blend and just let the natural grow out, but I have grays I don’t necessarily want to face. I’ve always wanted to try black but I’ve heard all the horror stories. I’m open to anything anyone wants to say. If it matters, my hair is up in a messy bun 99% of the time anyway. TIA!

I went to Walmart and picked up a full display of the GAG enamel pins from their video game/movie media memorabilia section in the back corner. There are 16 blind boxes per “case” which guarantees 1 prismatic code and 5 of the other unique pins. I weighed each box meticulously and it was clear that the pepper pin was the only one under 17 grams (15ish grams). The prismatic code gave the Jungle Kiwano seed.

The rest all weighed into three categories: 19, 18, and 17 grams. The lower weights are the two fruits: mango and pineapple. By shaking the boxes, I determined slight weight and shape variances and put those in matching piles. I did my best with the 18 and 19 piles. We opened 8 pins (including the prismatic peoper) 1 of each to start. We got 1 of each, plus 2 dupes. Every single non-prismatic code got the 3 Tier Bird Bath! So I’ll be returning the remaining 8 untouched boxes.

Edit: if you’re curious how to get the solid blue for water, take a roundabout from the playground crate (fun crate?) and flip it upside down. The trick though is to first put it on something else very flat, like a wood plank, then flip it. Otherwise it’ll sink into the grass.

I thought this summer harvest event would be at least 3-4 weeks but the shop shows the eggs and seeds leave in 2 days. Are we getting new eggs and seeds for this event or a whole new event, ya think?

A lot of these are peppermint and a spirit sparkle, but fun to look at.

P.S.S. To be fair, I still don’t have the supremely rare BLACK SWAN variant but I consider that completely unobtainable unless a miracle happens :) 🦢🖤
