Tuffshed

Tuffshed was installed and the installed seemed to cut their cuts short or cut by mistake and tried to cover it with caulk. I’m bringing it up and hope to get it resolved.

Army builders with series figures

Does anyone else buy large quantities of the series released mini figures not to sell or flip but to build armies? I started back up into Lego last year as my 4 year old got into them and discovered the series 27 Wolfpack beast master. I was able to get over 20’ of them at the end of the run for my castle build. Then when series 29 came out I have been growing a Bionicle Army and a Ninja army with about 10 of each. I have no plans to sell them but still been described as a scalper by some in other groups. Anyone else collect a lot but not sell for an army or other reasons.

Canadian Shipping price hike

Fellow sellers , I usually can ship one of my products to Canada for around 22 dollars. A few days ago I did. Today I had another Canadian buyer for the same product and it was 45 dollars. I went and tried to make a label again for my previous buyer and it is also showing 45 now. Has something changed or is this an odd glitch in Etsy? I even went back to a European seller and the pricing is still around 20 dollars. Has anyone else seen this?

Mini Mechs

Local Kohls had poly bag 30694 for cheap so I grabbed a bunch of them for parts and to upgrade / build upon. Cool little set that I can do a lot with

What do you do in this situation

I started buying bulk Lego on various market places and this is the first one I’ve fallen into this situation. I finally sorted the bulk bag I bought and found that most, if not all, the mini figures had been taken apart completely including removing the arms. After using a lego sorting shaker bin, This is what I have left of random bits and bobs / incomplete figures.. I Haven’t put too much effort into putting them together yet. What would you do if you had this issue. Would you throw the incomplete minis in a storage bin until you come across the missing parts in other bulk, would you part them out? Would you order a single arm or leg from another Lego fan that is parting there’s out?

I had a customer request a custom order for one of my products. We communicated back and forth, and I created the product (which would not significantly hurt me financially if the transaction did not go through). I then sent the custom order listing to the buyer, but the customer never paid for or accepted the listing.

After that, he repeatedly requested changes to the shipping destination. This was an international buyer. First, he wanted the item shipped to Spain, so I estimated shipping costs for Spain. Then he asked for it to be shipped to the Netherlands. Later, he stated that his first purchase of one item had incurred a tariff and suggested that I lower the declared value for future purchases.

He also asked twice to communicate off-platform, but I kept all communication on Etsy. He later requested that I add a business from Dubai to the shipment information. When I asked for the recipient’s name for shipping purposes, he provided a different name than before.

At that point, everything about the approximately $2,000 bulk order began raising concerns for me. There were numerous red flags, including repeated changes, inconsistent information, and questions he avoided answering. Because of this, I informed him that I was withdrawing the offer and would not be fulfilling the order. Again, he had never paid for the listing or completed the purchase.

Now he is claiming that my decision caused him significant financial losses because he had already made business preparations for the items. However, from everything I have read, no purchase means no agreement and no completed transaction.

He is now threatening to report the matter to Etsy. Should I be concerned about the costs he claims to have incurred, or am I within my rights as a seller to cancel an unpaid custom order under these circumstances?
