If a drunken rambling is appropriate...

I've been feeling very low. But I'm sitting here drinking and playing them, and it's so completely beautiful and healing... and I realize others respond to this music the same way I do, and that changes everything, doesn't it?

Spooky Rocks!

First time using paint pens (had previously just used ultra-fine Sharpies). Still new to the hobby, having a great time exploring the possibilities.

Papa Rocks!

Recently got into rock painting. I'm a Ghost fan so this set was inevitable.

Help identify/date my Richter parlor guitar?

Got this in an online auction, only info was that it was a Richter from the 20s or 30s. I'd love to know more specifically when it was made. Only identifying marks are the brand 'Richter' stamped on a small piece of wood glued to the neck block. Found info about the company's history but can't narrow down when this particular model came out.

I repaired around 20 cracks in the body, action's quite high but it's playable. Came with the frets numbered with a pink colored pencil, found that rather charming and felt kinda bad when the first cleaning wiped them all away.

My cozy little studio

Haven't done any multitrack stuff in ages, decided to dust everything off and get back into it. Gear's mostly from the 90s, I'm hoping it holds together. Wish me luck. :)

Edit: feels weird showing the gear without presenting any music, so here's a tune from a while back, it's called Spike's Taxi.
