I'm excited! Didn't manage to sort out glasses so I'll be making a pinhole camera today. I remember seeing the last solar eclipse in 1999 (that kind of Big Event gets engrained in your head when you're 6!)

I thought people were joking about the crying...

You know, when people say you cry at the drop of a hat. I always thought it was a bit exaggerated - and I say that as someone who gets choked up at ridiculous things like the Lloyds banking adverts!

But nope. It's a real thing. I get it now.

My husband made me laugh yesterday, a lot, to the point of having tears in my eyes, and then suddenly, bam! I was full-on sobbing and unable to stop for a good 5 mins. It was happy crying, don't get me wrong, but it was also a bit disconcerting because I had absolutely no control over it, couldn't take deep breaths to calm myself back down.

I've felt so emotionally stable through this pregnancy that I suppose it just took me by surprise a bit.
