What is the perfect height/size?

I stopped growing at 6'5 (still fit through doors and just under fans in my area), size 13 shoes (max the normal stores carry) and xxl clothing. (Most stores carry)

I feel like I hit the jackpot. Obviously I would love to be 7'2 and dunk on everything but I feel like I've got the benefits of height without any downside like the way the world is built or medical problems. I would like to be thinner as well but I have a very wide frame.

What do you guys think is the best human proportions possible and why???

How do you work at a Canadian tire without knowing what a rain poncho is?

I won't say the store but I went in there to pick up some ponchos for a camping trip and they weren't in the usual spot. I ask the man working the floor (not a 15 year old like normal lol) where I can find rain ponchos and he looks me dead in the face and says what is a ponch. I described it to him and he still had no idea. He ended up asking a kid stocking shelves and the kid knew right away. How on earth do you work the camping/outdoors section and have no clue what a poncho is. I used to work retail and knowing what the store sold is literally your only job.

How many of you just learned to shut up and hide who you are?

I was "diagnosed" with giftedness when I was 7 and now I'm 20 and the cracks are starting to show. I feel like a lot of this is caused by the fact that I just bottled up the way I saw the world and acted "normal" keeping everything in my head.

I hated coming off as a know-it-all so at around 12 years old I just kinda stopped acting "smart". In high school I hung out with the cool kids and went to all the parties but now I'm kinda thinking that I've been inauthentic to myself trying to be normal.

I've spoken with other gifted individuals and medical professionals and it seems that most gifted people have the opposite problem. They feel like how they see the world makes them socially different and if they want to be themselves they can't really have those kind of relationships.

So how many of you hid who you were for the sake of being "normal" and how, if ever, did you stop hiding?

Is something broken in the Truedagger mission tree?

I banned magic and it still wont let me do the mission. If I'm being stupid and missed something pls let me know but I'm pretty sure its not working as intended. The rest of the tree is fantastic though!

Empire of Anbennar missions?

I checked the discord and didn't see that anyone was working on it. Is it planned at some point or is it way down the line needing our lord and savior Jay to give the go ahead? It just kinda feels like it's missing since most of the AoE missions take you to the 1700s at the latest. Thanks!

Fun activities to do in the summer

I'm taking a few courses this summer and am looking for something to do while I'm on campus that doesn't require being a full time student. Just looking for some fun, relatively light physical activity to keep me going in the summer like a pickup sport or some random activity that happens once a week. Doesn't have to be through the university. I didn't see anything on their website for the summer term. Thanks!

Haven't played in 2+ years, did progression speed change?

I have gotten the hang of everything else that has changed but I feel like the crisis is weaker and happens sooner along your progression (not date). I'm probably much worse at the game now than I was before but I would have basically full tech before the crisis would show up. (and some maxed megastructures) In my last game they showed up right around me getting jump drives and mega engineering. I had better tech than any AI nation baring fallen empires who were worlds ahead of me. The crisis and I were about equal in fleet power but the fallen/awakened empires just stomped them. Before I would usually conquer a Fallen Empire right before the crisis hits. This playthrough the L-gates didn't even get opened.

Unless one of the updates reset the settings, I'm 99% sure that the crisis date stayed the same. (2500 I think) Did changes to the pop system / gov capacity make progression slower or am I just bad at the game now?

Magocracy ideas?

Now that we have the absolutely fantastic magic rework are there any plans for magiocratic ideas? (Replacing Autocratic, Divine, ect.) I'm not sure how ideas would play with magic xp gain so there might not really be a point. Didn't see anything on discord but I'm mostly on the mission tree side of things. Doesn't have to be fully focused on the new magic system either, could have some filler like stab. cost reduction, estate loyalty or prestige/prestige decay.

Anyways, you guys are fucking beauties and congrats on the update!
