Guy on train thinks he deserves all of my leg room

This happened in 2019 shortly after I started my first 9-5 job. I was 19 at the time and just for context, I was extremely shy and tended to avoid necessary conflict at all costs.

Was on the train home from work on a fairly crowded train. The train begins at the station I got on so whilst a fair amount of seats were occupied, I was able to secure a seat easily on one of those 3 seaters.

If you've never sat on a 3 seater before, usually the window and aisle seats are taken up first leaving the middle seat to be the last one free. I was sat at the window seat whilst a stranger was on the aisle one.

One stop later, this tall guy gets on and sits in-between me and previously mentioned stranger. A little awkward and uncomfortable, but obviously no biggie since this is all part of travelling on public transport.

Shortly after, I can see him looking at me in the corner of my eye whilst simultaneously trying to push my right leg with his left leg (presumably to get more room). I ignore his looks but as soon as I noticed him trying to push my leg, I stand firm and keep my leg in place. Seconds later he taps me on the shoulder and says 'Can you move your leg?'

I look down and see that my leg is perfectly within the borders of my respective seat and not protruding at all onto his seat (I already knew it wasn't since I myself hate when people take up more leg room than they should). If anything, he was beginning to go onto my seat from when he was trying to push my leg just a second ago.

I responded with 'I'm within my part of the seat' and go back to listening to my music.

He then says 'Can't you put your bag up there?' (onto the baggage space above) indicating my backpack that was in-between my legs.

I replied with 'That wouldn't make a difference. Plus, why do you think you should get all of my leg room too?' (As I was new to my job, the only thing I used my backpack for was carrying my lunch which was of course long gone by this point. My backpack couldn't have been flatter if the earth sat on it.)

He didn't respond this time but instead resorted to trying to push my leg again, which I again, stood firm on. He also started putting the side of his shoe on the side of mine whilst scraping down. I guess he thought if he was annoying enough, I would move my foot/leg in a bit. I just ignored it because I just thought 'what an idiot'.

Anyways, guess what? Literally 2 minutes after this incident, the brudda gets off the train. He did all of that just to only be on the train for 2 stops. After he got off, the woman opposite me gave me a look that said 'What an asshat'.

It's not the craziest justice served story you'll read on here, but nonetheless, I thought I'd share it.

Alien Isolation 2 Online Multiplayer Idea

I'm not sure if Alien Isolation 2 will have online multiplayer, but I think it would be really cool if they did a 'last survivor death match' mode where players, let's say 2-8 compete in a certain area of the map to be the last survivor amongst the rest.

Players can use things such as handguns, flares, noisemakers, etc. that they find/craft throughout the map to try and get their opponents caught by the xenomorph. Players can also use things such as flashbangs or even a (low fuel) flamethrower to escape the alien.

What do you guys think, is this something you would find fun to play in the new game?

P.S if anyone at SEGA or Creative Assembly is reading this and is thinking about putting it in the game, I want my cut please.

Can I use contactless debit/credit card on the green intercity buses?

Particularly buses 286,288,289.

From the UK and have UK bank cards and was wondering if I could use them to pay for these green buses.

I would buy a travel card but I'm just going on one trip.

Also any other tips for how it works in terms of boarding the bus, paying once I'm on there (or any other info you think would be useful). New to this and don't want to get caught out.

Thanks in advance.

Who's in Madrid right now for the show?

Someone on my flight was wearing a BULLY t-shirt.

There was also another guy outside the airport who me and him couldn't understand how the taxi pickups worked (first time doing this shit). Had a feeling he was here for the show too but forgot to ask.

Reckon these bite marks are from a rat or a mouse? Seems as though they got into our pantry.

First time this has ever happened so not sure how to deal with this. I've ordered some mouse traps and peanut butter for bait online. I've also bought some steel wool to plug up any holes I can find in my flat. Thanks in advance.

What's your favourite scary scene from a non horror movie?

Mine probably has to be the surgery scene in Spiderman 2 where Doc Ock massacres those poor surgeons.

Shit scared tf outta me as a kid when I first saw that. Funny as fuck now though. Especially the bit where the woman gets dragged into the dark with her nails scraping the floor.

What's your favourite scary scene from a movie that isn't considered a horror?

Horrors where the scary stuff is happening right in front of you, but you won't realise until you've finished the movie

What truly scares me are the horrors where only a day after, and have had time to digest what you just saw, can you truly comprehend the gravity of the situation.

The ones where you look back at certain scenes now that you know the ending and are left in complete shock at the realisation.

The ones where after seeing it once, it's a completely different movie the second time round.

Perfect examples would be: Hereditary, Get Out, Rosemary's Baby, Longlegs, The Blackcoat's Daughter, The Blair Witch Project, Weapons, Bring Her Back, When Evil Lurks, The Wailing, The Witch, Lake Mungo.

If anyone has recommendations related to the above that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

What jobs can I work 1/2 days a week?

Taking a 1 year career break/gap year/whatever you want to call it. I want to get a job somewhere working 1 or 2 days a week in order to stretch my savings as much as possible.

Any ideas on what kind of jobs would offer this? Currently thinking of retail and fast food but if anyone knows of any others I might not be thinking of that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
