I wanted to open a safe space to vent about struggles with not being able to afford tickets for the tours in the past/present due to economic/hardship strain. If that sounds like you, I’ve got notifs turned off for this post so vent away!!!!

I’ve been a phan since 2016 and I’ve seen every tour go by so far, without being able to attend. With the upcoming tour i’d have to bank on GA not selling out and driving 5 hours to the venue. Im finally old enough to get my own tickets but bills have already swallowed paychecks and credit cards.

I am absolutely addicted to weed. I’ve been smoking every single day with some breaks since I was 14. I am 23 now. I’ve always smoked a bong or pipe. I’m addicted to it. Full blown addicted. I can’t eat without it. I can’t sleep without it. I can’t be around other people without it. It’s such a crutch to me. I know people CAN have healthy relationships with weed but i’m just not one of them.

I HAVE to stop smoking weed. It’s ruining me financially. In idiocy, i’m unable to make ends meet because i’ve spent so much money on weed. I put it before food. It’s such a transitional act for me.

I have been diagnosed with PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, OCD and Borderline Personality Disorder through the last several years, I am on medication, but nothing makes me happy like weed does.

How do I kick this? I have none left and no money to get more. I’m aware that I need to confront the things i’ve been covering up with weed, but I have no fucking idea how to do that. I’ve just felt so hopeless and depressed the last two days knowing I was going to run out but not seeming to be able to stop myself from smoking anyways. Like it will always come back or something.

And then there’s the thought of “well I don’t WANT to stop smoking weed, I know it’s unhealthy but IDC!” and it makes me almost sad that I don’t get to smoke if i quit.

I just need any advice from people who have maybe been through this before.

I’m in Tacoma for a few days and I wanted to pick up a joint to smoke one night. My problem is, smoking in public is illegal, but how can I smoke if I’m staying at a hotel or AirBnB? Are there weed friendly bars?
