ஹூதிகள் ஜாரூதியா ஸய்திய்யா பிரிவைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள் الزيدية الجارودية (இப்பிரிவு அபூ அல்-ஜாரூத் என்பவருடன் தொடர்புபடுத்தப்படுகிறது. இவர் ஹிஜ்ரி 150 அல்லது 160 இல் மரணித்தார். இவரைப் பற்றி ஹாஃபிழ் இப்னு ஹஜர்: "ராஃபீதி" (தீவிர ஷீஆ) என்றும், இமாம் யஹ்யா பின் மயீன்: "பொய்யர்" என்றும் கூறியுள்ளனர்).

பத்ருத்தீன் அல்-ஹூதிக்கு நான்கு மகன்கள் உள்ளனர்:

1️⃣ * **ஹுஸைன் பத்ருத்தீன் அல்-ஹூதி:** கி.பி 1956 இல் பிறந்து, 2004 இல் யமன் அரசுடன் ஏற்பட்ட மோதலில் கொல்லப்பட்டார். யமன் அரசுக்கு எதிரான கிளர்ச்சி மற்றும் ஆட்சிக்கவிழ்ப்பின் முதல் தலைவராக இவர் இருந்தார்.

2️⃣ * **முஹம்மத் பத்ருத்தீன் அல்-ஹூதி.**

3️⃣ * **அப்துல் மலிக் பத்ருத்தீன் அல்-ஹூதி:** கி.பி 1979 இல் பிறந்தார். இவர் இன்னும் உயிரோடு இருக்கிறார்; யமன் ராணுவத்திற்கு எதிரான போரில் ஹூதிகளை வழிநடத்தி வருகிறார்.

4️⃣ * **அப்துஸ் ஸலாம் பத்ருத்தீன் அல்-ஹூதி.**

தந்தை பத்ருத்தீன் அல்-ஹூதி மற்றும் மகன் ஹுஸைன் பத்ருத்தீன் அல்-ஹூதி ஆகிய இரு முக்கிய நபர்களின் புத்தகங்கள் மற்றும் உரைகளிலிருந்து பெறப்பட்ட ஹூதிகளின் அகீதா (கொள்கை) சுருக்கம் இதோ:

**1️⃣.** ஹூதிகள் முஃதஸிலாக்களின் "ஐந்து அடிப்படைக் கொள்கைகளில்" (அல்-உஸூல் அல்-கம்ஸா) உடன்படுகிறார்கள். பத்ருத்தீன் அல்-ஹூதி கூறுகிறார்: *"அவர்களின் (அதாவது ஸய்திய்யாக்களின்) மத்ஹப் என்பது

அல்-அத்ல் (நீதி), அத்-தவ்ஹீத் (ஏகத்துவம்),

அல்-வஃத் வல்-வஈத் (வாக்குறுதியும் எச்சரிக்கையும்), பாவம் செய்தவர்கள் நரகில் நிரந்தரமாக இருப்பது, (மறுமையில் இறைவனைப் பார்க்கும்) ரூஃயத்த மறுப்பது, ஜபர் (விதியை மட்டும் சாட்டுவது) முறையை மறுப்பது மற்றும் அல்லாஹ்வின் தூதருக்குப் பிறகு உடனடியாக அமீருல் மூஃமினீனின் அலி (ரழியல்லாஹு அன்ஹு) இமாமத்தை உறுதிப்படுத்துவது ஆகியவையாகும்."*

முஃதஸிலா அமைப்பைச் சேர்ந்த அபூல் ஹுஸைன் அல்-கய்யாத் கூறுகிறார்:

*"ஒருவர் தவ்ஹீத், அத்ல், அல்-வஃத் வல்-வஈத், அல்-மன்ஸிலா பைனல் மன்ஸிலதைன், அல்-அம்ரு பில் மரூஃப் வன்-நஹ்யு அனில் முன்கர் ஆகிய ஐந்து அடிப்படைக் கொள்கைகளையும் ஏற்காத வரை முஃதஸிலா என்ற பெயரைப் பெறத் தகுதியற்றவர்.

இந்த அம்சங்கள் ஒருவரிடம் பூர்த்தியானால் மட்டுமே அவர் முஃதஸிலா ஆவார்."*

**2️⃣.** ஹூதிகள் அல்லாஹ்வின் பண்புகளுக்கு தவறான விளக்கம் (தஃவீல்) கொடுக்கிறார்கள். அல்லாஹ் அர்ஷின் மீது உயர்வதை (இஸ்திவா) 'கட்டளை மற்றும் தடையைச் செலுத்தும் அதிகாரத்தின் வெளிப்பாடு' என பத்ருத்தீன் அல்-ஹூதி விளக்குகிறார் ('அல்-ஈஜாஸ்' பக். 49). இறைவனின் 'பார்வை' (பஸர்) எனும் பண்பை 'நன்மைகளின் தரங்களை அறிவது' என்றும் ('முக்தஸர் அத்-தய்சீர் ஃபீத்-தஃப்சீர்' 1/38, 1/42), அல்லாஹ்வைப் பார்ப்பதை (ரூஃயத்துல்லாஹ்) 'நன்மையை எதிர்நோக்குவது மற்றும் எதிர்பார்ப்பது' என்றும் கூறுகிறார் (அதே நூல் 1/620).

மேலும் அல்லாஹ்வின் 'பேச்சு' (கலாம்) பற்றி கூறுகையில்: "அல்லாஹ்வின் பேச்சு புதிதாக உண்டாக்கப்பட்டது" என்று கூறுவதன் மூலம் முஃதஸிலாக்களைப் போலவே குர்ஆன் படைக்கப்பட்டது எனக் கூறுகிறார் (அதே நூல் 1/95).

**3️⃣.** சுன்னா (ஹதீஸ்) என்பது குர்ஆனுக்கு விளக்கம் அளிப்பதாகும் என்பதை ஹூதிகள் மறுக்கிறார்கள். அல்-ஹூதி கூறுகிறார்: *"சுன்னா குர்ஆனை தெளிவுபடுத்துகிறது அல்லது அதை ஆளுகிறது என்று சொல்வது சரியானதல்ல... சுன்னா குர்ஆன் மீது ஆதிக்கம் செலுத்துகிறது என்ற கூற்றுக்கு எந்த ஆதாரமும் இல்லாத வாதம்..."* ('தஹ்ரீருல் அஃப்கார்' பக். 44-46).

**4️⃣.** நபி ﷺ அவர்களின் கண்ணியத்திலும் ஹூதி குறை கண்டுள்ளார். ஷஃபாஅத் (பரிந்துரை) பற்றிய ஹதீஸில் நபி ﷺ அவர்கள் "என் தோழர்கள், என் தோழர்கள்" என்று கூறுவதைக் குறிப்பிட்டு (புஹாரி 4/139), *"அந்தப் பரிந்துரை பயனளிக்காது"* என்று அல்-ஹூதி எழுதியுள்ளார் ('அஸ்-ஸய்திய்யா ஃபில் யமன்' பக். 8).

**5️⃣.** ஆட்சிப் பொறுப்பு (இமாமத்) என்பது ஹஸன் மற்றும் ஹுஸைன் (ரழியல்லாஹு அன்ஹு) ஆகியோரின் சந்ததியினருக்கு மட்டுமே உரித்தானது என்று அவர்கள் கருதுகிறார்கள். அல்-ஹூதி கூறுகிறார்: *"ஹஸன் மற்றும் ஹுஸைன் ஆகியோரின் சந்ததியினரைத் தவிர வேறு எவருக்கும் இமாமத் தகுதி பெறாது என்பதை அறிவது கடமையாகும் என்று அல்-ஹாதி கூறுகிறார்."* ('அஸ்-செய்யிதிய்யா ஃபில் யமன்' பக். 8-10).

எனவே, ஹஸன், ஹுஸைன் சந்ததியைத் தவிர மற்றவர்களின் ஆட்சி அனைத்தும் செல்லாத ஒன்றாகும்.

**6️⃣.** அலி (ரழியல்லாஹு அன்ஹு) அவர்களுக்கு முன்பிருந்த அனைத்து ஆட்சிகளும் செல்லாதவை என ஹூதிகள் நம்புகிறார்கள். அதாவது அபூபக்கர், உமர், உஸ்மான் (ரழியல்லாஹு அன்ஹும்) ஆகியோரின் ஆட்சியை செல்லாது என்கிறார்கள். அல்-ஹூதி கூறுகிறார்: *"அல்லாஹ்வின் தூதருக்குப் பிறகு தலை தலைமைத்துவ உரிமை அலி (ரழியல்லாஹு அன்ஹு) அவர்களுக்கே உரியது. அவருக்கு முன் வந்த அபூபக்கர், உமர், உஸ்மான் ஆகியோரின் ஆட்சி செல்லுபடியாகாது. அவர்கள் மீது உம்மத்தின் ஏகோபித்த முடிவும் (இஜ்மா) சரியாக அமையவில்லை. அவருக்குப் பிறகு தலைமைத்துவம் அவரது குடும்பத்தின் சிறந்தவர்களான ஹஸன், ஹுஸைன் மற்றும் அவர்களின் சந்ததியினருக்கே உரியது."* ('இர்ஷாதுத் தாலிப்' பக். 16).

**7️⃣.** பத்ருத்தீன் அல்-ஹூதி 'சஹாபி' (தோழர்) என்பதற்கு பெரும்பான்மை ஹதீஸ் கலை அறிஞர்களுக்கு மாறுபட்ட விளக்கத்தை அளித்து கூறுகிறார்: *"பொதுவாக 'தோழர்கள்' என்ற சொல் நபி ﷺ அவர்களுடன் எப்போதும் கூடவே இருந்த சிறப்புமிக்க தோழர்களுக்கே உரியது. அவரது காலத்தில் இஸ்லாத்தை ஏற்று, வழியிலோ அல்லது ஏதேனும் ஒரு வேலையிலோ தற்செயலாக உடன் இருந்தவர்கள் அனைவரும் தோழர்கள் ஆக முடியாது."* ('தஹ்ரீருல் அஃப்கார்' பக். 473).

ஆனால் பெரும்பான்மை ஹதீஸ் கலை அறிஞர்களிடம் சஹாபி என்றால்: நபி ﷺ அவர்களை விழிப்பிலும், நம்பிக்கையாளராகவும் சந்தித்து, இஸ்லாத்திலேயே மரணித்தவர் ஆவார் ('ஃபத்ஹுல் முகீஸ்' 4/74, 'அல்பாயித் அல்-ஹஸீஸ்' பக். 169).

**8️⃣.** ஸஹாபாக்களின் சிறப்புகள் அனைத்தும் உமய்யாக்களை திருப்திப்படுத்தவும், அலி (ரழியல்லாஹு அன்ஹு) மற்றும் நபியின் குடும்பத்தாரின் கண்ணியத்தைக் குறைப்பதற்காகவும் இட்டுக் கட்டப்பட்டவை என்று ஹூதி கருதுகிறார் ('தஹ்ரீருல் அஃப்கார்' பக். 489, 'அஸ்-ஸுஹ்ரீ' பக். 60).

**9️⃣.** ஸஹாபாக்கள் தங்களின் மனச்சை மற்றும் சுயநலன்களுக்காகவே உஸ்மான் (ரழியல்லாஹு அன்ஹு) அவர்களைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்தார்கள் என்று குற்றம் சாட்டுகிறார். அப்துர் ரஹ்மான் பின் அவ்ஃப் (ரழியல்லாஹு அன்ஹு) அல்லாஹ்வின் வேதத்தின்படியோ, நபியின் சுன்னாவின்படியோ தீர்ப்பளிக்கவில்லை; மாறாக அலி (ரழியல்லாஹு அன்ஹு) அவர்களை விட உஸ்மான் (ரழியல்லாஹு அன்ஹு) அவர்களை முற்படுத்துவதில் மக்களின் மனச்சைப்படியே நடந்துகொண்டார் என்று அவதூறு கூறுகிறார் ('அஸ்-ஸுஹ்ரீ' பக். 60).

**1️⃣0️⃣.** அபூ ஹுரைரா (ரழியல்லாஹு அன்ஹு) அவர்களைப் பற்றி அல்-ஹூதி கூறுகிறார்: *"அபூ ஹுரைரா நபி குடும்பத்தின் மீது பொறாமையும் வஞ்சமும் கொண்டவர். அவர்களின் சிறப்புகளை மற்றவர்களுக்கு மாற்றுவதன் மூலம் இந்த வஞ்சத்தை வெளிப்படுத்தினார். ஆட்சியாளர்களின் தட்டுகளை நக்குவதற்கும், அவர்களின் பிரச்சாரகர்களை ஊக்குவிப்பதற்குமே அவர் இவ்வாறு செய்தார்."* ('அஸ்-ஸுஹ்ரீ' பக். 81).

**1️⃣1️⃣.** ஸஹாபாக்களை காஃபிர்கள் என்று அல்-ஹூதி கூறுகிறார்: *"நான் அவர்களை (ஸஹாபாக்களை) காஃபிர்கள் என்றே நம்புகிறேன், ஏனெனில் அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் தூதருக்கு மாறுசெய்தார்கள்."* (அபூ ஜாஃபர் அல்-மப்ஹூத் என்பவருடன் 'அல்-மஃஸூமீன் அல்-அர்பஆ அஷர்' எனும் ஷீஆ இணையதளத்தில் நடைபெற்ற நேர்காணலில் கூறியது).

மேலும் அம்ர் பின் அல்-ஆஸ், முஆவியா பின் அபீ சுஃப்யான் ஆகியோரின் பெயர்களைக் குறிப்பிட்டு காஃபிர்கள் என்றார். *"எனது இந்த மகன் ஒரு தலைவராவார்; முஸ்லிம்களின் இரு பெரும் குழுக்களிடையே அல்லாஹ் இவர் மூலமாக சமாதானத்தை ஏற்படுத்துவான்"* (புஹாரி 3/186) என்ற ஹதீஸைக் குறிப்பிட்டுவிட்டு அவர் கூறுகிறார்:

*"அலி (ரழியல்லாஹு அன்ஹு) அவர்களுக்கு எதிராகப் போரிட்ட அநியாயக்காரக் கூட்டத்தில் உள்ள சிலர் காஃபிர்களாக இருப்பதை இது மறுக்கவில்லை... ஏனெனில் 'முஸ்லிம் குழு' என்ற சொல் அனைவரையும் குறிக்காது, சிலரையே குறிக்கும். எனவே அவர்களில் சிலர் காஃபிர்களாகவும், சிலர் வரம்பு மீறிய முஸ்லிம்களாகவும் இருக்கலாம். இதனால் முஆவியா, அம்ர் பின் அல்-ஆஸ் மற்றும் அவர்களின் பின்பற்றுபவர்கள் இஸ்லாத்தில் இருக்க வேண்டிய அவசியமில்லை."* ('அத்-துர்ரிய்யா அல்-முபாரகா' பக். 28).

**1️⃣2️⃣.** அலி (ரழியல்லாஹு அன்ஹு) அவர்கள் பாவங்களற்றவர் (மஃஸூம்) என்று ஹூதி நம்புகிறார். அல்-ஹூதி கூறுகிறார்: *"அலி (ரழியல்லாஹு அன்ஹு) அவர்களின் மாசற்ற தன்மைக்கு (அல்-இஸமா) உம்மத்தின் மத்தியில் பிரபலமான 'ஃகதீர் ஹும்' ஹதீஸே போதுமான ஆதாரமாகும்."* ('அல்-காரத்துஸ் ஸரீஆ' பக். 336).

**1️⃣3️⃣.** ஹூதி தனது ஃபத்வாவில் முத்ஆ (தற்காலிக திருமணம்) திருமணத்தை அனுமதித்து அதை ஹலால் என்கிறார். ஆனால் அல்லாஹ்வின் தூதர் ﷺ அவர்கள் அதை மறுமை நாள் வரை ஹராமாக்கியுள்ளார்கள். ஹூதி கூறுகிறார்: *"முத்ஆ திருமணம் என்பது நமது மத்ஹபில் ஹலாலான, பரக்கத்தான ஒன்றாகும். நமது எண்ணிக்கை அதிகரித்து நாம் ஒரு பெரும் சக்தியாக மாறிவிடுவோம் என்ற பயத்தால் நவாஸிபுகள் (அஹ்லுஸ் சுன்னாக்கள்) அதில் நமக்கு சந்தேகத்தை ஏற்படுத்தவும் நம்மைத் தடுக்கவும் முயல்கிறார்கள்."*

**1️⃣4️⃣.** அஹ்லுஸ் சுன்னாக்களைப் பற்றி அல்-ஹூதி கூறுகிறார்: *"நவாஸிபுகள் பித்அத்வாதிகள், அவர்கள் மக்களைத் தங்களின் பித்அத்தின் பக்கம் அழைக்கிறார்கள்."*

('தஃப்சீருஸ் ஸகலைன்' பக். 10).

அனைத்து விஷயங்களிலும் அவர்களுக்கு மாறு செய்யத் தூண்டுகிறார்: *"இந்தக் காலத்தில் (தொழுகையில் இமாமுக்கு பின் ஆமீன் சொல்வதை) தடுப்பதே ஏற்றது, ஏனெனில் அது நவாஸிபுகளின் அடையாளமாகும்."*

**1️⃣5️⃣.** அஹ்லுஸ் சுன்னாக்கள் வரம்பு மீறியவர்கள் என்றும், அபூ சுஃப்யான் (ரழி) அவர்களின் தோழமையை மறுத்தும் அல்-ஹூதி கூறுகிறார்: *"தீவிரவாதிகளிடம் அபூ சுஃப்யான் ஸஹாபாக்களில் ஒருவராவார்."* (' அல்-ஃபற்கு பைனஸ் ஸப்பி வல்-கவ்லில் ஹக்' பக். 3).

**16.** நிவாரணம் பெறவும் பரக்கத் பெறவும் கப்ருகளைத் தொட்டுத் தடவுவதை அல்-ஹூதி அனுமதிக்கிறார்: *"அல்-ஹாதீ அவர்களின் மண்ணைத் தொட்டுத் தடவி நிவாரணம் பெறவும் பரக்கத் பெறவும் முடியும் என்பதை நீங்கள் அறிவீர்கள்."*

**1️⃣6️⃣.** மரணித்தவர்களை அழைப்பதையும் அவர்களிடம் உதவி தேடுவதையும் (தவஸ்ஸுல்) அல்-ஹூதி அனுமதிக்கிறார்: *"இறந்தவரையோ அல்லது மறைவானவரையோ அழைப்பதில் ஷிர்க் (இணைவைத்தல்) இருப்பதாக அவர்களின் வாதத்தை நாம் ஏற்க முடியாது."*

**1️⃣7️⃣.** ஹுஸைன் பத்ருத்தீன் அல்-ஹூதி, ஸஹாபாக்கள் குர்ஆனை மாற்ற முயன்றார்கள் எனக் குற்றம் சாட்டுகிறார்: *"அல்லாஹ் குர்ஆனைக் காப்பாற்றாமல் இருந்திருந்தால், குர்ஆனில் முஆவியாவுக்கு ஒரு சூராவும், ஆயிஷாவுக்கு ஒரு சூராவும், அபூபக்கருக்கு ஒரு சூராவும், உமருக்கு ஒரு சூராவும், உஸ்மானுக்கு ஒரு சூராவும் சேர்க்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் என்பதை அறிய அல்காத்தானின் 'உலூமுல் குர்ஆன்' புத்தகத்தைப் படியுங்கள். ஆனால் அல்லாஹ் அதைப் பாதுகாத்தான்."* (ஹுஸைன் ஹூதியின் 'துரூஸுன் மின் ஹுதல் குர்ஆன் - ஆலு இம்ரான்' பக். 13).

**1️⃣8️⃣.** ஹுஸைன் பத்ருத்தீன் அல்-ஹூதி, ஸஹாபாக்களை - முக்கியமாக அபூபக்கர் மற்றும் உமர் (ரழியல்லாஹு அன்ஹு) ஆகியோரை வழி கெட்டவர்கள் என்கிறார்: *"யமனிலும் வெளியிலும் உள்ள சுன்னிகளின் உணர்வுகளுக்கு மதிப்பளித்து... அவர்கள் இருவரும் (அபூபக்கர் மற்றும் உமர்) தவறானவர்கள், பாவிகள், வழிகேடர்கள் என்று நம்பியபோதிலும் நாங்கள் அமைதியாக இருந்தோம்."*

**1️⃣9️⃣.** ஹுஸைன் பத்ருத்தீன் அல்-ஹூதி, ஸஹாபாக்களையும் நபியின் சில மனைவிகளையும் 'தோல்வியடைந்தவர்கள்' என்று வர்ணிக்கிறார்: *"முன்னோர்கள் (ஸலஃபுகள்) என்பவர்களே இந்த சமூகத்துடன் விளையாடியவர்கள், அநீதிக்கு அடித்தளம் அமைத்தவர்கள், உம்மத்தைப் பிரித்தவர்கள். 'ஸலஃபுஸ் ஸாலிஹீன்' என்று சொல்பவர்களின் மனதில் தோன்றும் முக்கிய நபர்கள்: அபூபக்கர், உமர், உஸ்மான், முஆவியா, ஆயிஷா, அம்ர் பின் அல்-ஆஸ், முகீரா பின் ஷுஃபா ஆகியோராவர். இந்த வகையான முன்னோர்களும் தோல்வியடைந்தவர்களே."*

**2️⃣0️⃣.** ஸஹாபாக்களைப் பற்றி ஹுஸைன் அல்-ஹூதி கூறுகிறார்: *"இந்த உம்மத்தில் நடந்த ஒவ்வொரு தீமைக்கும், அநீதிக்கும், துன்பத்திற்கும் பொறுப்பாளி அபூபக்கர், உமர், உஸ்மான் ஆகியோராவர். குறிப்பாக உமர் தான் முழு திட்டத்திற்கும் பொறியாளர் (Architect); அபூபக்கர் விஷயத்திலும் அவரே அனைத்தையும் ஒழுங்குபடுத்தினார்."*

மேலும் கூறுகிறார்: *"அந்த (அபூபக்கரின்) பைய்யத்தின் (வாக்குறுதியின்) கேடு இதுவரை நீடிக்கிறது. அதன் விளைவுகளை இன்று வரை முஸ்லிம்களாகிய நாம் அனுபவித்து வருகிறோம்."* (அதே பாடம்).

மேலும் கூறுகிறார்: *"அபூபக்கரின் காலத்திலிருந்து ஒவ்வொரு தலைமுறையாக இந்த உம்மத் யூதர்களின் காலடியின் கீழ் விழும் வரை கீழ்நோக்கி வீழ்ந்துகொண்டே இருக்கிறது."* (அதே பாடம்).

மேலும் கூறுகிறார்: *"உன் முன் அபூபக்கர் மட்டுமே இருந்தால், குர்ஆன் உனக்கு எதையும் தராது; மாறாக நீ வழிகெட்டு, குர்ஆனை அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு எதிரான போராக மாற்றியவனாகவே வெளியேறுவாய்."*

**2️⃣1️⃣.** ஹுஸைன் பத்ருத்தீன் அல்-ஹூதி அல்லாஹ்வை இழிவுபடுத்தும் விதமாகப் பேசுகிறார்: *"இந்த உம்மத்திற்கு அதன் வரலாற்றில் குர்ஆன் தேவைப்படுகிறது, அது நம் மத்தியில் உள்ளது. ஆனால் அவனது தூதர் அந்தக் குறுகிய காலத்திற்கு மட்டும்தானா?! அப்படியென்றால் இறைவா, எங்களை ஏன் பாழாக்கினாய்?! வெறும் 23 ஆண்டுகள் மட்டுமே... அதற்குப் பிறகு எங்களை வழிகாட்டாமல் பாழாக்கி விட்டாயே, தூதரின் வழியில் மக்களை வழிநடத்த எங்களுக்கு வழிகாட்டிகளையும் தலைவர்களையும் ஏற்படுத்தவில்லையே..."*

As salam alaikum.

1. In this book of fiqh it says that the amount of heavy filth excused on body or clothes is 3-5cm diameter, which is actually quite big -- like a debit card or tennis ball. But it says for human urine, which is likewise heavy filth, that it can be bigger than the head of a needles, which is insanely small.... so.... which is it? 3-5cm, or pin size?

2. This question and the following refer to a part-time job delivering pizza that I got: first off, checking to see if this is correct but it's permissible to deliver or transfer non-zabihah meat to the kafirun; just not eat it.

3. The manager said beards should be 1 inch or shorter. I think this is haram in the Hanafi madhab; but, for ease and for the purpose of not going put into homelessness... I could go with the Shafi'i opinion, though it would still be disliked... or.... I could just ignore the rule after hiring, I guess.

4. The biggest fiqh question that no scholar has been able to solve since the dawn of Islam (joking): The Prophet (pbuh) said if there's hot food, one should eat it before prayer. By analogy, if there's a hot pizza for delivery, and Maghrib and it's short window hits, should I finish the delivery first? What if I know I won't finish the salat by the end of the window? What if I am doubtful?

Shaykh al-Albaani's Letter to Bashaar Awwad Ma'roof Concerning the Necessity of Declaring the Rawaafid of Iran Disbelievers

In the Name of Allaah, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

To the esteemed brother, Dr. Bashaar 'Awaad Ma'roof, Secretary-General of the Popular Islamic Conference Organization:

And upon you be the peace, mercy, and forgiveness of Allaah.

To proceed:

I have come across the five reports that you transmitted from the book entitled “Roohullaah al-Khomeini,” and I wished to clarify my ruling concerning them and concerning the one who said them. So I say—and it is in Allaah Almighty alone that I seek assistance:

Indeed, each one of those five statements is manifest disbelief and blatant shirk, due to its contradiction of the Noble Qur’aan, the purified Sunnah, the consensus of the Ummah, and that which is necessarily known of the religion.

Therefore, whoever says them, believing in and being convinced of what they contain, is a mushrik and a kaafir, even if he fasts, prays, and claims that he is a Muslim.

And Allaah, Glorified and Exalted is He, says in His Book, which is preserved from every addition and deficiency:

“And whoever opposes the Messenger after guidance has become clear to him and follows other than the way of the believers - We will give him what he has taken and drive him into Hell, and evil it is as a destination.”

— Qur’aan 4:115

On this occasion, I say:

It is indeed astonishing—an astonishment that can hardly come to an end—that we see a people who claim that they are from Ahl as-Sunnah wal-Jamaa'ah cooperating with the Khomeinists in calling for the establishment of their state and enabling it to become established in the lands of the Muslims, while being ignorant of—or deliberately ignoring—the disbelief, misguidance, and corruption upon the earth contained therein.

“And Allaah does not like corruption.”

— Qur’aan 2:205

If their excuse is their ignorance of their beliefs, and their claim that the disagreement between us and them is merely a disagreement concerning subsidiary matters and not fundamentals, then here it is before them: after they published their booklet “The Islamic Government,” printed it in several editions, and distributed it throughout the Islamic world, it contains such statements of disbelief as some of those which have been quoted from him in the question that follows.

So what excuse is there for the ignorant to continue in ignorance, and for the heedless not to awaken?!

This is despite the fact that the booklet is a book of propaganda and politics, and what would ordinarily be expected of a book such as this is that it would not mention therein beliefs that are manifest disbelief to those being addressed.

And this is despite the fact that the Shi'ah profess the doctrine of taqiyyah, which permits them to say and write what they do not believe, just as Allaah, Mighty and Majestic is He, said concerning some of their predecessors:

“They say with their tongues what is not in their hearts.”

— Qur’aan 3:167

To the point that I read a statement by one of their contemporaries, while he was listing the things prohibited in the prayer:

“And placing the hands one over the other in it [the prayer] is [an act of] taqiyyah!!”

Meaning, placing the right hand upon the left in the prayer!

And despite all of this, they have “said the word of disbelief,” thereby fulfilling the statement of Allaah concerning those like them:

“And Allaah is bringing out what you were concealing.”

And:

“And what their breasts conceal is greater.”

— Qur’aan 3:118

And in conclusion, I say, warning all Muslims with the words of the Lord of the Worlds:

“O you who have believed, do not take as intimates those other than yourselves, for they will not spare you [any] ruin. They wish you would have hardship. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater. We have certainly made clear to you the signs, if you will use reason.”

— Qur’aan 3:118

And glory be to You, O Allaah, and praise be to You. I bear witness that there is no deity except You. I seek Your forgiveness and repent to You.

“Honestly, I like drinking alcohol. When I was living in Egypt, I used to travel all over Egypt looking for someone who sold alcohol.

And if I found someone, I would see the man selling alcohol sitting in a very cramped place. He would look left and right, afraid that the government might see him, or afraid that I might be working for the government. He would ask me, ‘Where are you from? What’s your name?’—full of anxiety, terror, and fear.

When I left Egypt and traveled to Europe, the first thing I did was open the top button of my shirt and prominently display my cross. I thought that being Christian there was something significant and that people would welcome me.

But I found that Europeans had no real idea about the cross or about any of that. I realized that this was a mistaken idea I had been raised with from a young age.

It turned out that none of that was true at all. The country was secular, and many of those who are considered Christians there turned out to be atheists and knew nothing about religion. I found that alcohol was sold in shops just like water. I found millions of children who didn’t know who their fathers or mothers were.

I found men and women mixing freely and everything being available. I saw young men dating girls, having children together, and then getting married 20 years later.

The biggest example is Cristiano. And if that young man were to die in an accident, the children they had would go to a care home, and the woman would find another man and date him.

Then, after 20 years, they would get married. I saw girls marrying girls and young men marrying young men.

I saw mothers, when they reached the age of 70, being put into nursing homes. Their own son would take her there himself, then go to check on her once a month or once a year—and he might not even check on her at all.

I saw the most unbelievable things, things that were all forbidden and sinful.

I swear, I’m saying this as a matter of truth, not because I want to gain the sympathy of Muslims or anything like that. Muslims really have preserved Egypt and protected their women and families.

Not just Egypt, but all the Arab countries. I swear, I have a great deal of respect for this belief—the belief of Islam. These are people who have honor, principles, and values.

And as a Christian who was raised in the East, I say this openly and plainly: Islam is not merely a religion. Islam is the last line of defense protecting morality in this entire world.

Muslims have a firm prohibition against what is forbidden. Their sense of protective jealousy is not backwardness; it is protection for the home and for honor. A Muslim man would give his life rather than allow his mother, sister, or wife to be humiliated. And that is what keeps society cohesive and gives it solid ground to stand on.

If the West had the boundaries, manliness, and chivalry that Islamic law has planted in the hearts of Muslims, it would not have reached the swamp and the absurdities that I witnessed with my own eyes.

And I saw with my own eyes European Muslim men and women who remain just as committed to their religion, morals, faith, principles, and values despite all the temptations surrounding them.”

They said: If he recites the Quraan on the sound of a drum beat or a rod, or was told: Do you know the unseen? He said: Yes it is kufr

Formerly Pastor Ibrahim Bishoy (now Shaykh Mu’min Ibrahim) says:

“Let us assume that the Brazilian Roberto Carlos did not become Muslim and that this is merely a rumor. Would that harm Islam in any way? Of course not! The greatest evidence is me. I was a pastor, I had my position, and I entered Islam. And being a pastor means three things: a raised hand that people kiss, an influential word that people listen to, and money being paid. Yet despite all that, I left everything and entered Islam.”

But the important question is: Why does the Coptic diaspora become upset when a Brazilian football player becomes Muslim?

Even though Roberto Carlos is Catholic, and Catholic doctrine regards the Orthodox as outside the faith, while the Orthodox regard Catholics as outside the faith, and Catholics regard Evangelicals and Protestants as outside the faith, while Protestants regard Catholics and Orthodox as outside the faith—meaning that the three denominations declare one another outside the faith over fundamental doctrines and through official church councils—despite all this mutual condemnation, they cannot accept it when someone enters Islam!

The Reasons Behind the Mutual Condemnation

Between the Orthodox and Catholics:

The disagreement began at the Council of Chalcedon in 451 CE concerning the “nature of Christ.” The Orthodox believe in one nature of Christ, whereas Catholics believe in two natures. Because of this disagreement, each church condemned the other and considered it “heretical and deprived of salvation.”

Between the Orthodox and Catholics on one side, and Evangelicals and Protestants on the other:

They consider Evangelicals to be outside the faith because they reject the sacraments of the Church, the authority of the priesthood, and the intercession of the saints. In the Egyptian Orthodox Church, it is not permissible to pray together with a Catholic or Evangelical or to marry them except after “rebaptism.”

The Protestant position toward the other denominations:

Protestants regard Catholic and Orthodox beliefs as being based on misconceptions that associate partners with Allaah through claims of the intercession of saints, the authority of the Pope and clergy, and the Church’s sacraments. They believe that salvation is by faith alone, and that adding any other rituals makes the religion invalid and unable to lead to salvation.

With all this mutual condemnation among the denominations, the Coptic diaspora cannot accept one person entering Islam. Instead of focusing on the reality of the senior pastors, theologians, and monks who abandoned all the privileges, status, and crosses and entered Islam after deep study, they focus on a football player!

You diaspora fools, some of the greatest church figures in the world entered Islam. Let’s count them:

Anselm Turmeda (Abdullah al-Tarjuman — Spain): A prominent Catholic priest and theologian. He became Muslim after his theology teacher revealed to him the meaning of the name “Paraclete” in the Gospel and that it was a glad tidings of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him.

Abdul-Ahad Dawud (Benjamin Keldani — England): A Roman Catholic bishop who became Muslim after studying ancient languages and discovering explicit glad tidings concerning the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, in both the Old and New Testaments.

Dr. Gary Miller (Abdul-Ahad Omar — Canada): A Canadian theology professor and missionary. He decided to read the Qur’an in order to find errors in it, but was shocked by its scientific and logical precision and the absence of contradictions in it.

Yusuf Estes (Joseph Estes — America): A Protestant pastor and missionary. He became Muslim after debating a Muslim about monotheism and the distortion found in different translations of the Gospel.

Vyacheslav Polosin (Russia): A Russian Orthodox bishop and parliamentary adviser. He became Muslim after discovering that Tawheed in Islam is the pure, natural disposition and the belief of all the prophets.

Idris Tawfiq (Britain): A Catholic priest who worked at the Vatican. He became Muslim after recognizing the simplicity of the doctrine of Tawheed, the character of Muslims, and through reading the Qur’an.

Shaykh Ibrahim Khalil Filobater (Egypt): An Orthodox priest and monk. He became Muslim after extensive research into comparative religion, the origins of doctrines, and the history of church councils.

Dr. Wadie’ Ahmed (Egypt): A deacon who became Muslim after studying textual contradictions in theological interpretations.

Shaykh Muhammad Fu’ad (formerly Pastor Athanasius — Egypt): He became Muslim after deeply studying the doctrine of the Trinity and finding it unconvincing from a logical perspective.

Engineer Fawzi Sobhi (formerly Deacon Fawzi — Egypt): He became Muslim after comparing the concept of God in the Qur’an and Christianity.

Khaled Jensen (Denmark): A pastor and da‘ee who became Muslim because of the clarity of Islamic legislation and the absence of an intermediary between the servant and his Lord.

Thomas Irving (Ta‘leem Ali — Canada): A scholar and theologian who became Muslim after studying the Qur’an in Arabic and being moved by its linguistic miracle.

Alexander Russell (Alexander Webb — America): A theologian and diplomat who became Muslim after searching for a religion that combined reason and spirituality.

Martin Lings (Abu Bakr Siraj al-Din — Britain): A deeply learned scholar of theology who became Muslim after studying Islamic Sufism and the biography of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.

Jasmine Urban (Abdullah Urban — Germany): A Protestant pastor who became Muslim after discovering that Islam honors all the prophets and declares them free of faults.

As for the remainder of the list, the reasons they became Muslim can be summarized as textual contradictions, the absence of the concept of priesthood and intercession, the strength of the doctrine of Tawheed, and their shock at the historical distortion of religious texts:

David Benjamin: Became Muslim because of textual contradictions and the absence of priesthood within Tawheed.

John Sanderson: Became Muslim after researching the origin of the doctrine of the Trinity and becoming convinced of the simplicity of Tawheed.

Michael Hopkins: Became Muslim after being shocked by the historical alteration of texts and comparing them with the Qur’an.

Daniel Allison: Became Muslim because of the absence of intermediaries and priesthood in Islam and the soundness of its creed.

Claude Omar: Became Muslim because of the strength and intellectual clarity of Tawheed.

François Chevalier: Became Muslim after studying church history and discovering the glad tidings concerning the Prophet.

George Anthony: Became Muslim because of contradictions in books of interpretation and the different translations.

Paul Sharp: Became Muslim after becoming convinced of the irrationality of the Trinity and the clarity of the natural disposition.

Mark Christian: Became Muslim because there is no intermediary between the servant and his Lord in Islam.

Simon Alfred: Became Muslim after being shocked by the historical contradictions surrounding church councils.

Peter Sanders: Became Muslim because of the strength of the logic of Tawheed and the purity of the Islamic natural disposition.

John Webster: Became Muslim after researching the origins of doctrines and translations and seeing the strength of the Qur’an.

Robert David: Became Muslim because of the absence of priesthood and direct intercession with Allaah.

Anthony Griffin: Became Muslim after becoming convinced of contradictions in books of interpretation and theology.

Charles Edward: Became Muslim because of the strength of Tawheed and the simplicity of the Islamic concept of God.

David Nelson: Became Muslim after gradually discovering the historical alteration of religious texts.

Michael Bradley: Became Muslim because of the clarity of Islamic legislation and the soundness of the natural disposition without a priest.

Richard Holmes: Became Muslim because there is no intermediary and because of his shock at textual contradictions.

Albert Baker: Became Muslim because of the strength of Tawheed and the rejection of the Trinity.

Hans Jürgen: Became Muslim after comparing the concept of God in Islam and Christianity.

Bernard White: Became Muslim because of the absence of priesthood and intercession in Islam.

Stephen Clark: Became Muslim after being shocked by textual alterations and contradictions.

Philip Morris: Became Muslim because of the great clarity and intellectual soundness of Tawheed.

Christopher Marlow: Became Muslim because of contradictions in interpretations and theological books.

Frederick Richard: Became Muslim because he was unconvinced by the system of priesthood and human intercession.

Joseph Brown: Became Muslim after comparing pure monotheism with the Trinity.

Daniel Hansen: Became Muslim because of the strength of the Qur’anic text and its preservation throughout history.

Edward Bell: Became Muslim after being shocked by the history of church councils and textual alteration.

Thomas Brown: Became Muslim because of the absence of intercession and priesthood and because Islam accords with the natural disposition.

The truth is clear, and numbers do not lie. Islam has no need for rumors!

So, what next...?

Islam does not need a famous football player to become stronger, nor does it become weaker because someone leaves it.

But what is truly striking is that some people celebrate a person’s freedom to choose everything, then become angry when that person chooses Islam after researching and becoming convinced.

So do not fight the choice—discuss the evidence.

Whoever is confident in his creed will not fear someone who read, researched, and then chose Islam.

The truth does not fear investigation, and the truth does not need noise.

Allaahu Akbar, and all praise is due to Allaah.

He says:

“When I was a Christian, I had Muslim friends in the entertainment industry. Whenever one of them would talk to me about religion, I would say, ‘Everyone follows their own religion; may Allaah help them,’ and I would end the conversation and walk away, because I was not receptive to what they were saying in the first place.

But when my close Christian friend suddenly left the entertainment industry, I asked some of my Christian friends about him. They told me, ‘He became Muslim and left the entertainment industry.’ I got into my car and went straight to his house. At that time, I did not tell him, ‘Everyone follows their own religion; may Allaah help them,’ as I used to say to the Muslims.

Instead, as soon as I entered, I said to him, ‘Would anyone leave the light and go to darkness?!’ By ‘light,’ I meant Christianity, and by ‘darkness,’ I meant Islam.

I found my friend very calm. He said to me, ‘What darkness, George? Go, George, search the Bible and see the facts for yourself!’

Those words caused me tremendous anxiety. I went back home specifically to investigate and prove to my friend that he was wrong and bring him back to Christianity. I called my friend on the phone and said to him, ‘I have opened the Bible. Where do you want me to look?!’

He said to me, ‘Stay on the line with me. Open the Book of Psalms, Psalm 84, verse 6, and read it with me!’

I opened the page and read with my own eyes: ‘Passing through the Valley of Baca (Bakkah)...’

I said to him, ‘What does that mean?’

He said, ‘Open the internet and enter this verse from the Qur’an:

“Indeed, the first House [of worship] established for mankind was that at Makkah - blessed and a guidance for the worlds.”

Bakkah is Makkah, George, and this is the House of Allaah!’

I said to him, ‘What about the prophecies concerning the Prophet?’

He said, ‘Stay on the line with me, open the Book of Deuteronomy, chapter 18, verse 18, and read the entire prophecy!’

I opened the page and read the whole passage:

“‘I will raise up for them a prophet from among their brothers, like you, and I will put My words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him.’

After that, my friend said to me, ‘Moosaa, peace be upon him, was addressing the Children of Israel, and their brothers are the descendants of Ismaa‘eel—the Arabs. The prophet who came resembling him in law, jihad, migration, and everything else is our master Muhammad. And Allaah putting His words in his mouth means that he recites the Qur’an as revelation from Allaah!’

He then said to me, ‘Open the Gospel of John, chapter 16, verse 13, and read:

“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak.”

And open Google, George, and enter this verse from the Qur’an:

“Nor does he speak from [his own] inclination. It is not but a revelation revealed.”

Then look at the correspondence for yourself!’

After that, he said to me, ‘Open the Book of Isaiah, chapter 29, verse 12, and read!’

I opened the page and read:

“Or the book is given to one who cannot read, and it is said, ‘Read this,’ and he says, ‘I cannot read.’”

He said to me, ‘George, the first revelation that came to our master Muhammad was in the Cave of Hiraa’. When Jibreel said to him, “Read,” our master Muhammad said, “I am not a reader.” Open the internet and search for the hadeeth about the Cave of Hiraa’ and see the correspondence for yourself!’

Then he said to me, ‘Open the Book of Deuteronomy, chapter 33, verse 2, and read about the three mountains and the places where the Scriptures were revealed!’

I opened it and read:

“Allaah came from Sinai, and appeared to them from Seir; He shone forth from Mount Paran...”

I asked my friend, ‘What do these names mean? And where are these mountains located on the map?’

He said to me, ‘Focus, George. The Torah was revealed to our master Moosaa at Mount Sinai. The Gospel was revealed to our master ‘Eesaa in Seir, which is the mountains of Hebron and Palestine. And the Qur’an was revealed to our master Muhammad at Mount Paran, which is the mountains of Makkah, where Ismaa‘eel, peace be upon him, lived! These are the three places and mountains mentioned in Soorat At-Teen:

“By the fig and the olive, And [by] Mount Sinai, And [by] this secure city.”

I asked him in astonishment, ‘Is there also a mention of the water of Zamzam and the sacred sites surrounding the Ka‘bah?’

He said, ‘Open the Book of Genesis, chapter 21, verse 19, and read about Haajar and Ismaa‘eel:

“And Allaah opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water. So she went and filled the waterskin with water and gave the boy a drink.”

This is the blessed well of Zamzam that sprang forth beneath Ismaa‘eel’s feet! And open the Book of Psalms and read about circumambulation, the rows, and the walking between the two points, through the phrases “the courts of the house of the Lord” and “Baca,” where the pilgrims circumambulate the Ancient House in rows and groups!’

I said to him, ‘But is there an explicit glad tidings concerning the messenger who would come after the Messiah?’

He said, ‘Open the Gospel of John, chapter 16, verse 7, and read the words of the Messiah yourself!’

I opened it and read:

“Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Paraclete will not come to you.”

He said to me, ‘“Paraclete” in Greek (Periklutos) means “Muhammad” or “Ahmad.” He is the Comforter who establishes the truth and bears witness to the Messiah. This is the one mentioned in the Qur’an:

“And bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad.”

I asked him, ‘Is there also a mention of the land of the Arabs and descriptions of his companions?’

He said, ‘Open the Book of Isaiah, chapter 21, verse 13:

“An oracle concerning the land of Arabia...”

And in the Surah of Al-Fath in the Qur’an:

“Muhammad is the Messenger of Allaah; and those with him are forceful against the disbelievers, merciful among themselves. You see them bowing and prostrating [in prayer]... That is their description in the Torah. And their description in the Gospel.”

I remained on the phone with him, shocked, opening whatever page he directed me to in the Gospel and looking at its corresponding information on the map, on the internet, and in the Qur’an.

Then he said to me, ‘Hang up the phone with me now because Fajr is being called. I am going down to pray, and we will continue later. Open the internet and enter this verse and read it thoughtfully:

“Those to whom We have given the Scripture recognize him as they recognize their own sons. But indeed, a party of them conceal the truth while they know [it].”

As soon as I read that verse, I felt as though my heart was trembling, and there was no room for doubt anymore. All the doubts melted away, and I entered Islam just like my friend. I left the entertainment industry, and praise be to Allaah for the blessing of Islam.

After that, by the grace of Allaah, my mother and my sister also entered Islam.

May Allaah guide you and open your hearts to the light of pure Tawheed—Islam.”

Firstly we have to say that such a thing commonly happens with Sufis and for the longest of time, movies and theater before anyone you know of was born, had always made fun of Islam through Sufis

And that is why we repeat the aya

و من يهن الله فما له من مكرم

And he whom Allaah humiliates - for him there is no bestower of honor. (Al Hajj 18 translation of the meaning)

Secondly:

- The donkey does not associate Allaah تعالى with music which Sufis do

- The donkey and all animals don't associate deities with Allaah which Sufis regularly do and it's very simple to say that there are numerous mushrikeen sitting in that ring, or maybe most of them, or even all of them, depending on the circumstances

- The donkey's voice is one of the few animal voices that don't make thikr of Allaah تعالى as explained by the scholars, yet it is not more horrid to Allaah than the voice and sound of an innovator who changes the religion and the donkey does not change the religion

إِنَّ أَنكَرَ ٱلۡأَصۡوَٰتِ لَصَوۡتُ ٱلۡحَمِيرِ

"Indeed, the most disagreeable of sounds is the voice of donkeys."
